▼ Özet Özet Kuzey Anadolu’da Karadeniz Bölgesi’nin Batı Karadeniz Bölümü’nde yer alan Sinop; dağlık ve engebeli yapısı, kalkınmayı güçleştiren kısıtlı ekonomik imkânları, iç ve dış pazarlara erişimi engelleyen zorlu ulaşım şartları ve diğer nedenlerle Türkiye’nin en fazla göç veren illerinden biridir. TÜİK tarafından yayınlanan bazı çalışmalarda ise Sinop Türkiye’nin yaşlı, mutlu ve huzurlu illeri arasında ön sıralarda yer almaktadır. Araştırmada aynı kurum tarafından yayınlanan verilerden nasıl böyle iki farklı sonuç çıktığı araştırılmış, Sinop il genelinde mekânsal analiz yöntemi ile bu çelişkili sonucun nedenleri ve sonuçları üzerinde durulmuştur. Sinop’ta iş imkânlarının yetersizliği genç nüfusu il dışına göçe teşvik ederken, bu durum il genelinde yaşlı nüfus oranının artmasında etkili olmaktadır. Yayınlanan son istatistiklerde Sinop’ta çoğunluğunu emeklilerin oluşturduğu yaşlı nüfus % 18,1’lik oranla Türkiye genelinde ilk sırada yer almıştır. Diğer yandan çalışma çağındaki nüfusun yine göçlerle sürekli il dışına gitmesi Sinop il genelinde işsizlik rakamlarının da çok düşük çıkmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu iki husus bir arada değerlendirildiğinde, bunlara bir de özellikle il merkezi Sinop’un; temiz havası, denizi, ormanı, küçük ve sakin şehir hayatı eklendiğinde, bu kez Sinop, yine TÜİK verilerine göre, % 77,7 oranla Türkiye’de insanların en mutlu olduğu il olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Başta geçim sıkıntısı ve ek gelir ihtiyacı olmak üzere, çeşitli sebeplerle il dışına olan göçlerin bugün ulaştığı boyuta bakıldığında Sinop’un mutlu ve huzurlu olmasına imkân yoktur. Hal böyleyken, başka kriterler kullanılarak ilin mutlu ve huzurlu olduğu sonucu çıkartmak istatistiki verilerle mümkün olsa da, il genelinde yapılan mekânsal analizler TÜİK’in verileri ve bunlardan çıkan sonuçlarla örtüşmemektedir. [email protected] - [email protected] Abstract Located at the West of the Black Sea Region in the North Anatolia, Sinop is one of the cities that leads migration to other cities with its countainous structure, restricted economic facilities and difficultness of transportation which blocks the access to local and foreign markets. The studies conducted by TÜİK has shown that Sinop is at the top among the oldest and most peaceful cities in Turkey. The two different results from this studies have been further investigated and these contradictious cause and effects are emphasized by spatial analysis throughout Sinop. The insufficiency of job facilities in Sinop leads young population to immigrate to other cities and this situation brings about the increase of old population in the city. According to recent statistics the population rate of the old, retired people in Sinop is the highest in Turkey by 18,1%. On the other hand the migration of the employee-age to other cities has also caused the increase of the unemployment rate in Sinop. Thus evaluating these two circumstances and considering the facts as fresh air, sea and forest areas and small cozy life of the city center especially, it can be said that Sinop is the happiest and most peaceful city in Turkey by 77% by TÜİK data’s. To sum up, looking at the immigration rates caused by the struggle of living and the low incomes it cannot be said that Sinop is the most peaceful and happiest city in Turkey. Nevertheless saying that the city is the most peaceful one considering another criteria’s can be possible; yet spatial analysis, data of TÜİK and the parallel results has not been overlapped.
