Abstract

Quantitative research and qualitative research are two distinctly different ways to study and analyze research topics. Quantitative is objective in that it is research and analysis that is based on statistical analysis against determined variables. Qualitative is subjective in that it is allowed to be more reflexive and lends this technique to where the author can use his opinions and assumptions [1]. This paper written to describe that's method. So it introduce you to facilitate your understanding of meaning, characteristics, similarities and defenses of qualitative and quantitative approaches.
