This research handles Imam Juwainy's objective thinking based upon interpreting the legal texts inserted in the Imam's original books. Those books included a variety of expressions referring to Islamic legal objectives, introduced in diverse molds containing objective phrases and statements closely related to practical applications where the legal objectives of the financial policy within the state came into force. Accordingly, it has become dutiful to save the spare capital of the treasury as well as diversifying the sources of public income. In addition, the general expenditure is not done haphazardly but it has its definite channels with their specified amounts. Such issues have proved that the legal objectives have their role in preserving and preventing the religious and mundane interests of the nation from any inflicted harm.

Imlā is in the high position among the branches of language. It constitutes an important foundation for written language. Errors in imlā can result in many problems and lead to errors in understanding sentence because of its unclear meaning. Students who are not Arabic speakers encounter many problems when learning this realm. Therefore, it is needed an appropriate method to adapt students language ability with their language level. This study aims to explain several methods of teaching Imla for non Arabic speakers. The suggested method here is adjusted with the four types of imlā, namely: Imlā Manqūl, Imla Manżūr, Imla Masmū’ and Imla Ikhtibāri. Cooperative learning is one of the learning models used by teachers in teaching and learning process, and it has many types when it is implemented in the classroom. In reality ashwat (Arabic phonology study) is one of the boring subjects considered by students in Ma'had Al-Imarot Bandung. The lecturer only instructs the students to pronounce the Arabic hijaiyyah letters and distinguish the letters adjacent to the makhraj (points of articulation of letters) and its nature. In the learning process, a lecturer uses only lecture method, who gives the examples of correct pronunciation then the students repeat those pronunciations after the lecturer. Tafsir Ilmi" is a new characteristic of "tafsir" which was famous in this era. There are many contemporary problems of "tafsir ilmi". It is required a thought of contemporary scholar whose able to solve it. He is Yûsuf Al-Qardhâwî who has devoted his thought to solve it. He is specialist in jurisprudence but it was not in authority of Al-Qur'an and tafsir. Eventhough, he has researched in tafsir ilmi and owned several works in Al-Qur'an and tafsir. This research shows that Yûsuf Al-Qardhâwî's thought in tafsir ilmi (especially ontological aspect) comprehends: First, existence of "tafsir ilmi" and "i'jaz ilmi"; Second, the reality of "tafsir ilmi" and "i'jaz ilmi"; Third, the connection between "tafsir ilmi" and "i'jaz ilmi"; Fourth, Yûsuf Al-Qardhâwî's position in dialectics of tafsir ilmi.

این مقاله به معرفی و بررسی انتقادی کتاب رابطۀ دین و فناوری نوشتۀ آقای دکتر حسین مطیع (استادیار محترم دانشگاه صنعتی اصفهان) میپردازد. تلاش اصلی کتاب، چنانکه خود مؤلف نیز تصریح میکند، بررسی تعامل فناوری و دین در متن جهانبینی اسلامی، و نیز ارائۀ نظریهای برای رسیدن به فناوری اسلامی است. مقالۀ حاضر، ابتدا خاستگاه کتاب و جایگاه آن در بین آثار دیگر مؤلف و سپس روششناسی پژوهش را مورد واکاوی قرار میدهد و آنگاه به ارزیابی دقیق پروژۀ مؤلف در باب فناوری اسلامی میپردازد. ادعای این مقاله آن است که کتاب در مسیر دستیابی به نظریهای منسجم در باب فناوری اسلامی به موفقیت زیادی نائل نمیشود و این کوشش، نیازمند اصلاح و تکمیل است. در واقع، دیدگاه مؤلف متمرکز بر مقاصد طراحان و کاربران مصنوعات فناورانه است و نه متوجه ساختار و ویژگیهای فیزیکی این مصنوعات، و بنابراین مفهوم "فناوری دینی" به آنچه که مؤلف، "فناوری غیردینی" (در مقابل ضددینی) مینامد تقلیل مییابد.

This article discusses one of the works of hadīth scholar, which is known as “Arba`īn”. The writers of Arba`īn collect forty hadīths from different topics and then combined them into one book. Some of them innovated in combining the hadīth. This type of work is known as “Arba`ūn Buldāniyah”. The first scholar to do this is al-Ḥāfiẓ Abū Ṭāhir as-Silafi, then followed by his student, Ibnu `Asākir. Shaikh Yāsīn, a Hadīth scholar from Indonesia who lived in Mecca since he was child. Shaikh Yāsīn had a good reputation in Isnād (chain of hadīths) by maintaining the continuous line of transmission from his teacher, the teachers of his teacher, and to the author of the book studied, as was done by previous scholars. He contributed to the writing of An Arba`īn book which contained forty hadīth from forty scholars (teachers) from forty cities in the Islamic world. The research employed a research and development method modified from Borg and Gall, consisting of needs assessment, design, and development. The research objectives were to portray the material of teaching Arabic written in class ten at Islamic senior high school and design a model of enrichment material graded and used independently for the students who graduated from public junior high schools. The study showed that the students who graduated from public junior high school and continued study to Islamic senior high school must be assisted by an enrichment material for their independent study because the existing material did not match their previous knowledge.
