s-Events hold an important role for the profit and non-profit activities. Today, Event Management has become a scientific discipline. Inherently, Events involve some uncertainties. Therefore the organization of Event Management and their components must be planned and managed effectively. In this sense, one of the most important constituents of Event Management is " Event Logistics ". Event Logistics concerns managing people, materials, goods, information etc.. through the entire process that consists Pre Event, On Event and Post Event. Event Logistics includes almost all components of regular Logistics such as warehousing, handling, site selection, order processing, packaging and containerization, routing, transportation, etc. Recent years Event Management has taken great strides in Turkey. Now, it is the time to put this knowledge into practice and test on a real Event. The aim of this paper is to explore descriptively such a logistical guide to be considered for Expo 2020 Event.
Effective uses of information technologies make the logistics companies more competitive, supporting every stage of their operations. Also rapid growth of e-commerce increases both firms’ and individuals’ demands on e-logistics services. Therefore this research focuses on e-logistics developments in Turkey mainly in the light of its relations with the EU. Turkey is a candidate country of the EU and e-logistics is a new concept for Turkey. For both reason Turkey adapts the EU rules in enactment process of this sector. Investigating the major drivers that encourage an emergence of e-logistics in Turkey, a focus group interview is used in this study. It was found that e-logistics has a positive progress in Turkey, in spite of that country’s legal infrastructure and organizational structures of logistics companies are not fully ready to answer demands of e-logistics facilities yet. Research findings show that foreign logistics firms, invested in Turkey, are the main e-logistics operators and more successful in this terms, comparing with domestic ones.

Ḥalāl is no longer understood as solely concerning food consumption or ritual slaughter. It is at the centre of the global Muslim food industry and logistics is one of its driving forces. The growing demand for ḥalāl food integrity contributes to the need for ḥalāl logistics. However, ḥalāl logistics operation has thus far not been warmly received by the industry thus hampering the availability of such services. This conceptual study attempts to illuminate the issue by addressing ḥalāl logistics from a marketing perspective. The concept of marketing mix and how it can be practiced by industrial players in marketing or promoting ḥalāl logistics services underpins our discussion. Existing literature is reviewed and discussed to ascertain the link between ḥalāl logistics and the 7Ps of its marketing mix, Abstrak: Halal tidak lagi difahami sebagai satu-satunya bagi penggunaan makanan atau penyembelihan binatang untuk dimakan. The broad span of Logistics Management encompasses control of time, place, movement, energy (efforts, labor), as well as the positioning, stance and movement of products, materials, commodities, and people. This study coins the term Stance Logistics to focus on the stance and movement of people within the range of Logistics principles. The philosophy behind this is to enhance the required sensitivity with respect to management and control of time, place, movement, motion, stance and energy in material and nonmaterial exchanges and in all types of human encounters. Stance Logistics includes not only the “on foot” (pedestrian) or “in-vehicle” (automated) movements and public behaviour in stopping, standing, and positioning, but also individual predisposition of physical and mental response, and awareness (aesthesia). This essay describes the application of the scientific principles of Logistics to the personal experiences of people. Current Logistics literature includes mostly models developed on pedestrian and evacuation movement behaviour [1]. To the author’s knowledge, however, there is nothing documented on the issue of personal individual Logistics Stance. Behaviours, especially that of blocking other people’s ways and passages, intervening, rudeness and queue-jumping in various environmental settings have not been extensively studied, if at all, whether during walking, pausing, stopping, face-to-face encounters, standing or waiting in lines and lanes or waiting for an elevator or metro train door to open. This study seeks underlying clues to increase sensitivity and awareness of people’s movement particularly in public areas by shedding light on Logistics behaviours of people. When combined with applicable models of pedestrian movements and integrated with the general principles of Logistics, Stance Logistics can serve as an important guide to facilitate the daily activities of many people. It is believed that, this exploratory study will pave the way for further research to produce promising results on the aspects of this new concept of Stance Logistics. Keywords: Logistics, Stance Logistics, Logistics Sensitivity, Pedestrian movement, personal space.
