The aim of this research was to induce the spawning of Anadara tuberculosa by decreasing and increasing the salinity in laboratory conditions. The broodstock of these molluscs were collected in San Felipe, San Vicente in October 2012. The research shows (?) the embryonic and larval development of the molluscs obtaining larvae type D between 16 and 18 hours after spawning. In the larval culture, the larvae were fed a mixture of microalgae, Chaetoceros gracilis and Isochrysis galbana, during 17 days of culturing, achieving a growth rate of 4,755 µm/day. The embryonic and larval development of A. tuberculosa was similar to other species of bivalve molluscs. The pollution by protozoans and bacteria was one of the principal factors of mortality of the larvae, limiting the final phase of the larval culture.
