textabstractIn zeven jaar tijd hebben Beeld en Geluid, EYE Filmmuseum, het Nationaal Archief en Kennisland meer dan 90 duizend uur video, 20 duizend uur film, zo’n 100 duizend uur audio en 2,5 miljoen foto’s geconserveerd en gedigitaliseerd. Het gedigitaliseerde materiaal wordt inmiddels hergebruikt in talloze toepassingen, van les materiaal en Wikipedia tot apps en diensten voor de creatieve industrie. Beelden voor de Toekomst heeft een pioniersrol vervuld in zowel de ontwikkeling van grootschalige digitaliseringsprocessen als de gedachtevorming over de rol van erfgoedinstellingen in de digitale samenleving.

Growing up in complex reality: the unique contribution of pedagogical science in the Netherlands The inception of the discipline of pedagogical science in the Netherlands was exactly one hundred years ago in 2018. After a brief description of the history of pedagogy, several domains of the current field of pedagogy, in particular child and family studies and clinical child and family studies are highlighted. Next, the interrelations between pedagogy, psychology and psychiatry using the bio-psycho-social model and the socio-ecological model are described. Pedagogical science is an empirically-normative, performance-centered, and integrative science that unites the broad spectrum of behavioural sciences. With this unique combination, pedagogical science helps to answer scientific, clinical, and societal questions to help children reach their full potential.

Van passiviteit tot passie : een rijkdom aan drijfveren voor natuurbeleid
Meer betrokkenheid van burgers bij het natuurbeleid moet leiden tot een bredere verankering van het natuurbeleid in de samenleving. In dit onderzoek wordt een raamwerk ontwikkeld waarmee de mogelijkheden voor meer draagvlak en particuliere medeverantwoordelijkheid voor natuurbeleid in kaart worden gebracht. Door meer aandacht te schenken aan vormen van burgerlijke betrokkenheid die zijn gebaseerd op sentiment of op economische motieven, kunnen de kansen op draagvlak en medeverantwoordelijkheid worden vergroot. Greater involvement of the public in conservation policy should lead to a broader anchoring of conservation policy in society. In this study a framework is developed for identifying the scope for broader support and for private joint responsibility for conservation policy. By paying more attention to forms of public involvement based on sentiment or economic motives, the scope for support and joint responsibility can be increased.

When the lights go out Lighthouses as an iconic landscape element In September 2021, the cast-iron Kijkduin lighthouse near Den Helder, also known as 'Lange Jaap' (or 'Long Jack'), made the news of the day. The news of the lighthouse's imminent risk of collapse drew many reactions from Den Helder residents. The lighthouse turned out to be a landscape icon in the region, which local residents felt strongly connected to. The issues related to Lange Jaap are not an isolated case. Lighthouses are increasingly losing their primary function as beacons for ships. Modern means of navigation are taking over. Therefore, we need a vision on the preservation and redevelopment of this nautical heritage. This article deals with the history of the beacons and lighthouses and their maintenance. It also covers the importance of lighthouses as a striking element in the Dutch coastal landscape over time. In doing so, it becomes clear how lighthouses are connected to the people living in their vicinity and that these beacons of light should be preserved for the future.

Het scp rapporteert aan de regering, de Eerste en Tweede Kamer, de ministeries en maatschappelijke en overheidsorganisaties. Het scp valt formeel onder de verantwoordelijkheid van de minister van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport. Het scp is opgericht bij Koninklijk Besluit op 30 maart 1973. Het Koninklijk Besluit is per 1 april 2012 vervangen door de 'Regeling van de minister-president, Minister van Algemene Zaken, houdende de vaststelling van de Aanwijzingen voor de Planbureaus'.

Marriage migrant women are vulnerable to forms of partner violence, particularly in the first five years after migration to the Netherlands because of their dependence on their partner for residence rights. This article, based on qualitative research amongst Moroccan marriage migrant women in the Netherlands and women who have been left behind in Morocco, examines their position and analyses how legal regulations and residence dependency on the one hand, and the integration process on the other hand, play a role in cases of intimate partner violence. This qualitative research cannot offer figures about intimate partner violence and is not representative for couples with migrant origin in general, nor for migrants from Moroccan origin. The aim is to examine the relation between dependence residence rights and intimate partner violence.

Peace and judgement in the gospel according to Luke. Quite rightly Luke is called an evangelist of peace and non-violence. It is recognised in several studies that peace, nonviolence and love for the enemy are integral parts of the message of the Lucan Jesus. Yet this statement cannot be made without criticism. In the gospel of Luke there are many texts in which violence is present, which is incongruent with the message of peace and non-violence. Sometimes there is even violence that is excessive. In many of these texts violence has to do with vengeance in the judgement. In some recent studies the relation of the peace-message of Jesus and the retribution in the judgement is discussed. In this article we first examine the problem of violence in Luke's gospel with the help of Luke 19:9-27. In the vision of Luke the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE is a consequence of the refusal to accept the message of Jesus. To understand this it is necessary to place the fall of Jerusalem in the eschatological timetable of Luke. We see here a certain equivalence between the situation of the contemporaries of Jesus within the gospel and the situation of the intended readers in the last quarter of the first century CE. Moreover we propose to reverse the way the question is put. We do not have to enlighten how it is possible that after the peace-message of Jesus there will be vengeance in the judgement. First there is the announcement of the judgement. After that a delay is announced for the contemporaries of Jesus as well as for the intended readers of Luke's gospel: a year of the Lord's favour. This delay gives room for repentance.
