Borgo Runza, indicated like "to plan" in the ERAS balance item sheet of 1956-57, was at service of the P.R.29 subdivided in 31 sections in Mazara Del Vallo area, not far from the small town of Borgata Costiera. In the text "Dati statistici sull'attivita svolta dal 1948 al 1960" edited by the IRES, others P.R., in the Runza influence area, are reported: the P.R. 495, the P.R. 1005, the P.R. 272, the P.R. 26 and the P.R. 574. The project was entrusted to the Arch. Antonino Barraco -the same of Borgo Desisa -and the works, based on a plan of the 30th Aprile 1954, to the Impresa A. Fileccia. Till on the 3rd August 1959, Borgo Runza was in contract for a cost of 45.370.000Lire, amount that was accepted by the standard of the Regione Siciliana according to the Protocollo n.2 3597/AGR. -1 Aprile 1953. The Borgo C has an arable area of 2000mq and arise on the road SP70 where the typical colonical houses were built during the land reclamation of the '50s. The Impresa ABC -the same of Borgo Marroccia-Capo D'acqua -built the houses characterized by a small porch enabling the access inside the rooms. During the years, a lot of houses are teared down to build a photovoltaic system in front of the Borgo's square, other ones, instead, to enlarge the vineyards characterizing the landscape. Altought the project of Borgo Runza does not exist, is easily inferable looking that of the other coeval Borghi that have similar buildings and location. The Ufficio Tecnico Riforma Agraria -Settore Borghi -directed by the Eng. Luigi Panico -based the centers of the R.A. on recurring plans and valutation. It is clear that the ERAS decided to not entrust the planning of new borghi at young architects and engineerings -contrary to ECLS done in the past -and organize a program oriented to saving time and money. So, the borghi of the 50s and 60s was designed by architects and engineers that were in the ERAS staff, save Borgo Dagala Fonda and Borgo Grancifone -La Loggia that were planned by external professionals. They were 34 supervised by Panico and convolved to build borghi and rural schools in the entire Sicily. Built at the beginning of '60s, Borgo Runza is composed of tree structures: the school, the kindergarten and the ERAS branch linked trough a porch to the warehouse. Instead, the entire borgo area is 1.20.95ha, made up by the parcel 197 of the foolscap 66, art. cadastral 12143. The ERAS decided to realize the borghi "in series" -for example the project of Borgo Cuticchi [EN], Borgo Gurgazzi [CL] o Borgo Desisa [PA] are very similarand decided to exclude the Church by the rural life, essential and aggregative element for every sicilian Borgo.
The author examines the origin and affirmation of the principle of "favor rei" which, from a rhetorical argument used for procedural purposes in the late republic, has been transformed into a real principle of law in the philosophical and cultural climate that characterized the Roman Empire between the first and third centuries AD, finding in Trajan its most valid supporter, and then spread into civil proceedings thanks to the jurisprudence of the time.
Deciphering the city and its historical evolution through the analysis of its representations is today, at least for Trapani, a method of investigation never pursued. Those that at a first observation appear graphically as disproportions, inaccuracies, approximations or even irrationality could instead be useful to suggest new research trajectories, both on the real physical transformations and on the socio-cultural context in which they occurred.

This paper considers the extent of Trajan’ building activity on the Capitol Hill notwithstanding the scanty sources on the subject. The author agrees with Fred S. Kleiner identification of the monument depicted in RIC II, 572 is an arch at the entrance of the Area Capitolina and argues that the remains of a monumental inscription found around 1830 in the Forum area originally belonged to it.
