The Internet is a computer network that millions of people use every day. Understand the design strategies used to solve computer networking problems while you learn Network works. Computer networking has changed the life style of world. People can work from home while they keep an eye on their children. Companies can conduct video conferences and share software. Information on just about any conceivable subject is available at the click of a mouse. For this project a new typeof hardware complier is created. This hardware complier will simple topology for physically design a suitable network intended for specific communication. With this new technology, itis possible to design any thingfromasmall network to amore complex network.

Since the late 90's IP telephony, commonly referred to as Voice over IP (VoIP), has been presented as a revolution on communications enabling the possibility to converge historically separated voice and data networks, reducing costs, and integrating voice, data and video on applications. This paper presents a study over the standard VoIP protocols H.323, session initiation protocol (SIP), media gateway control protocol (MGCP), and H.248/Megaco. Given the fact that H.323 and SIP are more widespread than the others, we focus our study on them. For each of these protocols we describe and discuss its main capabilities, architecture, stack protocol, and characteristics. We also briefly point their technical limitations. Furthermore, we present the advanced multimedia system (AMS) project, a new system that aims to operate on Next Generation Networks (NGN) taking the advantage of its features, and it is viewed as the successor to H.323 and SIP.

Internet is a primary requirement in this modern era because it is one of the information's media and communication. Due to its rapid advancement, internet is now a main infrastructure which must be possessed by an organization, institution (education, government, service provider and others). Besides internet, other infrastructure which is also a primary requirement in an institution is a centralized storage or server. Regarding internet's availability and server, PT Indonesia Terbit Media faces some setbacks such as the unavailability of sufficient bandwidth management and unavailability of centralized information storage. To solve those setbacks, a MikroTik router is offered to be implemented in the company's network. Before doing research, observation is held in the company to gather information's regarding current network. Along with observation, focus group discussion is held with the staffs. After information's are gathered, current network is analyzed then a new topology is proposed. After the proposal is approved, testing phase is initiated to know the contributions of newly proposed network in solving the mentioned setbacks. Results from the implementation are such as bandwidth management is applied in new network which is resulting in stable internet's speed even though a user is downloading a quite large file and Ubuntu-based centralized server.
MikroTik operating system is designed as a network router. It is the operating system and software that can be used to make a computer into a reliable network router. The computer includes a variety of features for IP networks and wireless networks. These functions include Firewall & Nat, Bandwidth Limiter, Routing, Hotspot, Point to Point Tunneling Protocol, DNS server, DHCP server, Hotspot, and many other features. On a network that has many clients, it requires a bandwidth adjustment mechanism to prevent the bandwidth over the limit. All clients get their bandwidth fairly. Bandwidth Management is the method used to meet those needs. Limiting bandwidth on MikroTik Hotspot is necessary to perform. Wireless hotspot can be accessed anywhere to whom it may have the access policy. Bandwidth Limitation is required to promote justice and prosperity prevalent in all the hotspot user.

The function of bandwidth is to manage network bandwidth so that each network user can get the same bandwidth even though there are many users on the network. The use of the internet and computer networks is needed to support company operations. bandwidth requirements used are not small. In many companies, they have to get an internet connection for their individual needs and because the internet speed is only 10 Mbps, if it is not used according to the needs of the job, it will interfere with other workers who want to use the internet at PT. Five Main Techniques. To realize good bandwidth management, therefore the author will make bandwidth management with the simple queue method so that PT. Panca Teknik Utama has a network that can be used stably and according to the needs of each user even though many are using the internet simultaneously. To be able to make bandwidth management the author uses the observation method, interview method, and literature study method to collect data ...
This paper discusses issues of IP telephony. What can we expect from such communications methods, what kind of benefits does IP telephony bring, and what drawbacks can users expect in comparison to POTS telephony? Solutions for connecting VoIP terminals (ranging from PC phone to IP phone) and other functional entities of IP telephony, such as gateways and gatekeepers, are presented. Some IP telephony services are mentioned, and possible IP phone functions and applications, which any user would appreciate, are described. We conclude with an interesting questionnaire as a prediction of what users can expect from IP telephony.

This article proposes iGSM: a voice-over-IP value-added service for mobile network. The iGSM service provides user mobility to subscribers, which allows them to use either GSM handsets or H.323 terminals (IP phones or PCs) to access telecommunications services. We describe how the iGSM registration, deregistration, and call delivery procedures can be implemented without modifying the GSM network. We study how the tromboning effect in the standard GSM system can be avoided when accessing the IP network. Then we investigate the misrouting problem caused by user mobility.
