The basic communication skills are improved by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which has a great impact in our society and also in teaching and learning of the scientific concepts. In the present work we intent to present our SWOT analysis referring to implementation of the Intel® Teach Program, in Romanian education.
With increasing knowledge and technological progress of society; our country requires learning skills that could help it keep pace with the development of science and technology. Educational systems in a community and consequently education will not be able to separate from other social institutions, national and international interactions widely known in the global village. Education in the twenty-first century is the center from which all changes and developments arise. Information technology in education needs a culture. This culture needs to be learned along with the use of hardware resources. The system needs to be educated to use information technology; otherwise, purchase and transfer of technology and investment will be nothing but wasting resources. Although these technologies are not impartial in any sense they should be used as means for communicating information, in the existing social structures. However since the process of change and transformation is in the nature of human social institutions, the educational system is also prone to some alterations. But the fundamental problem is that what strategies should be adopted so that education systems in developing countries do not only follow developed countries but grow and progress base on their own needs in the path of progress. In this paper, after explanation about the role of information technology and its place in education in underdeveloped countries and Iran, a discussion is presented on how to enter the field of information society and how to use information technologies.
The millennium we have entered is ruled by the new multimedia technologies which facilitate incredibly the inter-human communication, the computer and the internet being considered the most representative technological instruments made in the modern epoch.
The time we leave in is a time of information technology and technological progress. The entire social development depends on science and its application. Science and new technology are changing our way of life from the root. This technological development changes the individual as a being, and with this it changes the whole humanity. Education now appears to be the key factor in society that inevitably has to comply with the technological revolution. The modern way of life requires a new form of education that would be universal, flexible, an education that will meet the needs and interests of the new student, which will respond to various social needs, an education that will motivate students and encourage them to be active. Historically, starting from Socrates, Quintilian, Montaigne, Comenius, Rousseau and Diesterweg, we can observe that they all supported the instruction where the student learns to judge things and phenomena, and does not learn and know these by heart (Montagne,...

This article examines the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in teaching Science as well as the organisation and realisation of online classes during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In respect to this, the research results are used to gather teachers' viewpoints and opinions regarding the application of ICT in Science classes, as well as to determine the best method of application of the aforementioned technologies and the form of ICT most often used in Science classes. The results are also used to gather teachers' opinions about online classes, and to examine the problems and disadvantages the teachers encountered when organising and holding online Science classes for the lower grades of elementary schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the research also illustrate that teachers have a positive opinion in regards to the use of ICT in Science classes as well as the frequent (albeit not constant) use of it. The teacher...

Educating young people is one of the most beautiful and humane vocations. The transfer of knowledge to young people and their introduction into the world of science requires a well-prepared and organized educator. The application of information technologies in education has become an everyday tool, so that its role in the educational process has come to the fore during the last two years. The Covid 19 pandemic brought new challenges to the education system in Republika Srpska. The best solutions for the teaching process were sought. At the beginning, the classes were conducted at a distance, last year in classrooms with classes shortened to 20 minutes, and this year the classes again last 45 minutes, with respect to protection measures. The paper will show how the students coped with all these changes and how much their knowledge of information technology helped them in all this. The research includes an analysis of data collected by a survey of high school students and refers to th...
SEI programme is a national-wide initiative whose objective is to implement ICT in the education system by providing schools with the necessary equipment, by developing a wide range of computer applications meant to ensure the interaction between students and curricular contents, by training teachers in using ICT for education, and by establishing the premises of a IT-based network in support of modern management. The present paper present the results of a recent evaluation research on SEI programme, developed by the University of Bucharest in collaboration with research institutions and education NGOs.
This theoretical paper describes Basics of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its applications in the field of Education. It also mentions about the ICT Competencies required for being an effective teacher.
The paper deals with the issue of ICT teaching in pregradute teacher training on both the Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree level. The paper also analyses the educational approaches to teaching, trying to capture the possible differences between specializations and identify possible specifics and methods which reflect interdisciplinary relations with an effort to strengthen the professional key competences of a teacher (with an emphasis on communicative language competences). The aim of this paper is to present the results of a content analysis and the proposed measures leading to a higher quality of education outlined in the context of pregraduate teacher training. INTRODUCTION The key to an effective education of the present and future generations of pupils and students is a complex professional preparedness of a teacher, his general knowledge. In concordance with the current trends we do not strictly mean the contents preparedness but mainly the competent preparedness. Activity character of the competences allows a teacher to educate the pupils with a help of cooperation of classical educational methods and modern technologies, mainly the ICT. In this context, the questions emerge, how are the teachers supposed to use the ICT, how to implement them into the instruction process, what methods of pupil´s learning will be incited, what key competences can be enhanced by using the ICT in the correct situations (Kubrický, 2013). The relationship of a teacher to information and communication technologies plays the understandable and important role here. It is not made only by a subjective conviction and interest, but also by the quality of education within the pre-graduate teacher training, alternatively the expanding studies. Our goal is to reflect the content and methods of the Bachelor´s and Master´s Degree studies within the field of Informative education oriented on preparing the future informatics teachers of the ISCED level 2 and secondary school pupils and students on the Faculty of Education of Palacký University Olomouc. Our effort is to analyse the current state of the instruction from the point of view of prevailing character representation of the teacher´s ICT competences in the instruction of chosen subjects of the mentioned field. Regarding the fact that the knowledge of the English language is also one of the decisive determinants of successful gaining of knowledge from the ICT field, we also put emphasis on the perspective strengthening of the English language knowledge.

This work deals with the need of introducing modern aspects of communication on higher education of future teachers using information and communication technologies. The emphasis is put on the importance for future teachers to have basic information science knowledge and skills and their preparations for using ICT. A growth of the number of computers in education in Croatia has been shown for the period between 1999 and 2003, as well as a proposal of basic contents which, within the informatical and informational system of education, every person included in the education system should possess. Contents are indicated of the Basic Course IT knowledge, The Advanced and the specialist Course of Computer Literacy. suggested by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia. A Curriculum of intensive study of Information Science is presented as it is realized in one of the nine teacher's training colleges in the Republic of Croatia.
