Outstanding student is a student who has reached high achievements in both curriculars, co-curriculars, and extracurriculars activities. This study aims to provide pictures from the journey of life from each outstanding student. The journey to become outstanding students contains experiences and events that happened before they become outstanding students, from childhood until the time they earned the title of outstanding student.

IAIN Raden Fatah requires a 'skripsi' (minithesis) to graduate from this institution by giving the credit score of 6. The writing of minithesis which has been taking place all this time is carried out based on the theme of department or study program taken up by the students. With the sciences they have studied for several semesters and the special subject of research methodology, the students are theoretically capable of doing a research in accordance with their own scientific theme. Like a research, a minithesis must fulfill a scientific requirement. The result of the research should be beneficial to the development of science in the existing departments or study programs. The purpose of this study is to discuss the dynamics of the independence of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students and what factors are behind the independence of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students. Shopaholic is a term used to describe the behavior of someone who is unable to resist the urge to shop. Using a grounded theory approach, this qualitative research highlights shopaholics conducted by participants who come from among students. With a high prevalence of shopaholics among college students because it is related to lifestyle and trends among their peers. Compounded by the impact caused by this behavior in the form of money and a lot of time to fulfill shopping needs, this phenomenon is interesting to discuss. Participants as the main data source in this study were determined using purposive sampling with the criteria: female students, aged 18-20 years, and exhibiting shopaholic behavior. The results showed that the psychological dynamics of shopaholic perpetrators from among students was the tendency of the perpetrator's parents to apply permissive parenting accompanied by the availability of sufficient parental financial support (excessive monthly money) so that the students concerned did not feel guilty or felt the need to control their shopaholic behavior.

Regulasi diri adalah pengelolaan diri dalam mencapai suatu tujuan pada situasi berbagai aktivitas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui regulasi diri pada mahasiswa berprestasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan model daftar cek masalah. Semakin baik tingkat regulasi diri dari individu maka semakin baik dalam pengeloaan diri untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi diri dari salah satu mahasiswa berprestasi tersebut adalah masuk dalam kategori baik. Artinya mahasiswa tersebut telah cukup mampu mangatur dirinya dan mengarahkan pikiran serta tindakannya untuk mencapai tujuan termasuk meraih prestasi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap gambaran motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa yang telah melewati masa studi 4 tahun. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang mahasiswa Jurusan Psikologi Universitas Airlangga yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus dengan proses pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara serta menggunakan teknik analisis tematik dengan theory driven. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pilihan, usaha, dan ketekunan pada mahasiswa tidak selalu berorientasi pada hal akademik namun juga dapat berorientasi pada hal-hal non-akademik. Achievement motivation is one of the variables that determine one's success. This article aims to discuss achievement motivation as an important factor that also determines the success of a student in his study. There are several formulations of the problem posed. First, what is achievement motivation? Second, what are the dimensions of achievement motivation? Third, what factors influence student achievement motivation? Fourth, how are the efforts made to increase achievement motivation in students? By using the literature study method and reviewing research findings regarding achievement motivation, the writer concludes. First, achievement motivation is an internal driving force that drives an individual to achieve high goals in an effort to achieve success and high performance. Second, the dimensions of achievement motivation are goal orientation, need for achievement, locus of control and fear of failure. Third, the factors that influence student achievement motivation are internal factors, consisting of personal goals, self-expectations, independence and external factors consist of the learning environment, environmental support, rewards and recognition. Fourth, efforts to increase achievement motivation are setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, creating a supportive environment, applying interactive learning methods and building connections with subjects.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dinamika psikologis mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto pelaku prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui interview pada 8 orang informan penelitian, dengan rincian 4 orang informan primer dan 4 orang informan sekunder, analisis data menggunakan analisis data interaktif (interactive model of analysis). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik hubungan antara stres akademik dan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil bekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kemudian sampel dan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang bekerja sambil kuliah berjumlah 120 orang responden, dengan karakteristik usia 19-28 tahun, dan merupakan mahasiswa yang bekerja sambil kuliah. Each student show a different response to serve in stages of human development early adulthood. If student don’t serve well, a student will experience quarter life crisis which also causes psychosocial problems arise. The purpose of this study was to determine the dinamic of psychosocial problems in individual facing quarter life crisis. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The number of participants wa three people and three informants who were close friends of the participants. Data were collected using semi-structures interviews and observations made during the interview process as a complement. Penelitian ini mengenai gaya belajar peserta didik berprestasi pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Belitang Kabupaten OKU Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan gaya belajar peserta didik berprestasi pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Belitang Kabupaten OKU Timur dilihat dari aspek akademik. Demikian pula kajian epistemologis ranah psikologi pendidikan Islam klasik dan kontemporer, serta integrasinya dengan wilayah Islamic studies kontemporer, selain juga riset lanjutan aplikatif psikologi pendidikan Islam seperti yang tertera diatas. The success of online learning is largely determined by independent learning. Independent learning is influenced by several factors, one of them is achievement motivation. The aim of the study was to determine the correlation between student achievement motivation and independent learning during online learning. The research sample was 165 students of Primary School Teacher Education of PGRI University of Yogyakarta. The data were collected by using survey technique, while the data analysis technique used was correlation technique with Product Moment. The result of the study shows that there was a positive and significant relationship between achievement motivation and independent learning with 0.702 as amount of correlation coefficient. Meanwhile, the test result of determination coefficient shows that achievement motivation became 0.490 or 49% as predictor of independent learning. Abstrak: Keberhasilan pembelajaran daring sangat ditentukan oleh kemandirian belajar. Kemandirian belajar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya motivasi berprestasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya hubungan motivasi berprestasi dengan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa saat pembelajaran daring. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta sebanyak 165 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survei, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi dengan Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemandirian belajar dengan besar koefisien korelasi 0.702. Sementara itu, hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan motivasi berprestasi menjadi prediktor kemandirian belajar sebesar 0.490 atau 49%.

This study aimed to findout how doctoral students have academic resilience to overcome various challenge in their doctoral journey and complete all the learning process optimally. The approach chosen in this research was qualitative case study. Participants consisted of six students of Psychology Doctoral Program of Airlangga University who have successfully completed the study. The participants' study period varied from 4 to 6 years. Data collection in this research was conducted by using interview and initial data entry sheet. The thematic data driven was used in analyzing data. The results identified that doctoral students will have academic resilience if they are able to adapt positively to negative experiences during the study process. The three main negative experiences reported by participants are: The problem of time-sharing between roles, problems with mentors and examiners, and problems in conducting the research. The positive adaptation consists of two categories: By prioritizing the positive response of in stressful situations and making positive personal adjustments. Those results can further be utilized to formulate effective steps in providing more accurate mentoring process for doctoral students.

Academic flow during the pandemic is much needed in supporting learning activity primarily in online learning process. This study aims at identifying the effect of achievement motivation and social support toward Senior High School students’ academic flow in Kefamenanu, East Nusa Tenggara. This research involved 191 samples through probability technique especially simple random sampling, while multiple regression technique was used in analyzing data. Based on data analysis for t test, it showed that tcount value of achievement was 4.215 > ttable (1.972) with a significant value 0.000 < 0.05, tcount value of social support was about 2.515 > ttable (1.972) with significant value was 0.013 < 0.05 that showed simultaneously the effect toward students’ academic flow.
