A novel system for ECG Telemedicine and Telecare is presented. It exhibits a low cost performance ratio and thus can provide advanced telemedicine services in remote or isolated areas. It can be used as a fundamental telemedicine platform, offering essential medical services, allowing a referred physician from far away to offer assistance without traveling to the referred medical site.
