Gembala jemaat berperan penting dalam memajukan gereja dan jemaat yang digembalakan. Orientasi pelaksanaan tugas bukan sekedar melakukan tugas rutinitas penggembalaan, melainkan membawa gereja mewujudkan tujuan Allah. Dalam tugas inilah diperlukan kinerja gembala jemaat yang baik. Konsep diri gembala terkait dengan panggilan Allah dalam dirinya mempengaruhi perilakunya dalam melaksanakan tugas pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh konsep diri mengenai panggilan Allah terhadap kinerja gembala jemaat. Metode penelitian ini dengan survei-korelasional dengan responden penelitian para gembala jemaat di salah satu Sinode di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh konsep diri mengenai panggilan Allah terhadap kinerja gembala jemaat. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan konsep diri positif tidak berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja gembala jemaat. A good and true friendship is a friendship that is built continuously both long distance and face to face. Therefore, in the context of pastoral ministry, a church pastor needs to be friendly with all members of his congregation. The pastor's role is to encourage all members of the church to increase friendship among fellow congregations and make friends with all people. Friendship with all people is highly valued by Christ Jesus through His word. This study aims to explain the role of the church pastor as a leader in increasing friendship with all people. To answer the problems and research objectives, qualitative research methods are used by applying a library approach. The results of the research to be achieved are the pastor of the church as a spiritual leader who plays an intense role in being able to encourage believers or the congregation to increase friendship with all people according to the teachings of Jesus Christ in His word.

Religious expressions in rural areas is no longer a problem with the diversity it has. The social reality in Pangedaran Village is very concerning, various problems such as the education rate is very low, knowledge support activities are very minimal, even the drugs abuse is common in the village. the social setting accompanies the da'wah activities of the taklim, which demands that the recitation can fill Islamic knowledge and religious experience and the congregation's spiritual care. The purpose of this study is to explain the rituals, experiences of members in carrying out the routines of the taklim assembly to care for the spirituality of the congregation. Qualitative methods and descriptive analysis were used to complete and obtain relevant research results. Utilizing observation, in-depth interviews and documentation to support the data to answer the main questions of this research. The Servant of God is a spiritual leader for the people that he serves. Phenomena that appear to be seen that often the servant of God who can' t be model in the problem of moral and ethical, and some even a servant of God has not be able to influence and values positive. Some others leave his calling as a pastor with a variety of reasons. The servant of God must understand the meaning of his calling in order to be able to demonstrate his consistency in his ministry.. Abstrak. Hamba Tuhan adalah pemimpin rohani bagi orang-orang yang dilayaninya. Fenomena yang muncul bahwa kerap dijumpai hamba Tuhan yang tidak dapat menjadi teladan dalam persoalan moral dan etika, bahkan sebagian hamba Tuhan tidak mampu memberi pengaruh dan nilai-nilai positif. Sebagian lainnya, meninggalkan panggilannya sebagai hamba Tuhan dengan berbagai alasan. Seharusnya, seorang hamba Tuhan harus memahami arti panggilannya sehingga mampu menunjukkan konsistensinya dalam pelayanan. Kata-kata Kunci: Hamba Tuhan, konsistensi, pelayanan, teladan. PENDAHULUAN Menjadi Hamba Tuhan 1 adalah sebuah tugas yang menuntut tanggung jawab dan teladan dalam berperilaku. Sesuai dengan sebutannya, hamba Tuhan merupakan hamba yang melayani Tuhan atau hamba dari Tuhan yang berperan menjadi alatnya Tuhan. Oleh karena tugas atau fungsinya ini, seorang hamba Tuhan haruslah satu pribadi yang mampu menunjukkan contoh atau teladan dalam perkataan dan perilakunya. Panggilan menjadi Hamba Tuhan adalah suatu panggilan yang mulia. Di tengah zaman di mana manusia dihadapkan kepada banyaknya pilihan penting menyangkut sikap 1 Istilah Hamba Tuhan dikenakan kepada setiap orang yang karena alasan tertentu memutuskan untuk menjadi hamba dan melayani Tuhan yakni mengerjakan pekerjaan atau pelayanan yang diserahkan Tuhan untuk diselesaikan.
