Now a day everyone depended on software technology and machines. in civil engineering department most of work do with software's just like for designing using cad, 3d model using BIM tools, structural design and analysis using staad, cost and estimate using excel, for project planning use primavera. So that we use of primavera software for project planning, scheduling, resource levelling, cost and valuation. Every project need resources for execute. Now a day calculation of resources and time project is easy and fast with use of primavera software or as like other software's for example MSP project, Smartsheet, Wrike, Workfront, Autodesk BIM 360, Synchro 4D, Procore etc. In project depend many type of resources for example labour, machine's, material, money and space. Resource allocation use for control and calculate of resource time and quantity for project task. Resources depend on time and cost of project. In resource allocation resource are constraint and time change with tasks. Three types of resource are uses in industries like labour, non-labour and materials.

A project is a collaboration to plan and achieve a particular aim. Project involves several tasks to be completed from start to the final aim of project completion. A schedule of tasks is developed in the planning phase by the project planning and scheduling team that clearly states the various project milestones and activities in detail from project start to project finish. Lack of the knowledge of various aspects of schedule development often results in a schedule which is not understandable by the majority of people involved in the project and hence not useable. Construction project shall employ the latest and the best available project planning and management software Primavera project management, one of the most usable software package employed by a large group of industries. The planning process for a building construction with some alternative schemes such as execution schedule, activities relationship, resource allocation etc. has been attempted to examine the consequence of overall implementation in terms of scope and time to the project. Effective time planning is very important in determining a success of any project, poor planning and controlling of project will causes delay. To overcome this time running problem analysis can be done by using the primavera p6 software. In this project, primavera P6 software help the planning, scheduling, resource allocation and time management. This software gives better quality of construction management process and easily understanding results.

In that Construction sector construction manager's has to deal with lots of problems regarding time management and its limitations. Safety issues, change in nature work, budget constraints etc. According to previous observation and experience proper skillful management it is very essential to resolve and reduce these issues effectively. Primavera P6 software can overcome these issues adequately and efficiently. Effective time planning is very important in determining success of any project, poor planning and controlling of project will causes delay. In this project, primavera P6 software help the planning scheduling, resource allocation and time help the resource allocation and time management.

The main prospect of this study is to develop a planning approach in order to optimize the duration of construction planning and scheduling. The scheduling is carried out using Primavera P6 software and analyze the existing methods to identify the sequence and time (duration. start time, finish time, delay) of the construction project. Analyze and identify the dependencies of the tasks to track the project and update it on regular basis and to analyze the delays in the project. Suggesting the suitable and necessary methods and techniques for developing new alternative methods to optimize time and budget.

As cities continue to grow, the way we construct and manage buildings differ and the complexities keep tremendously increasing in the project. Planning and scheduling have become a major concept to be considered for a smooth execution of construction works. In order to reduce the complexities, an effective tool called Oracle's Primavera P6 is used for determining an ideal schedule for construction activities. Construction planning is the necessary forerunner to scheduling and it includes determining general sequence, assigning responsibilities, defining construction methods and work tasks. Planning refers to everything you do to set up your project for success. The success or completion of any project will mainly depend upon the cost and schedule details of the project. This paper tries to explain planning and scheduling of a G+5 building using the Primavera software.
