Macbeth might be summarized as a man progressing erratically around power and destruction towards the end, an oversight around disbelief and impetuosity. His own reasons seem to be his goals, his misdoubts, and his resignation to his wife's more competent personality.

Shakespeare’s Macbeth is a highly complex and magnificent tragedy where nemesis descends upon the tragic hero in a true tragic manner. It is as well an excellent crime story with an intricate pattern of crime and punishment. Macbeth in a sense is a criminal but he is also a tragic hero because Shakespeare endues him with qualities worthy of a tragic hero, because he has a moral weakness which impels him to criminal thoughts and criminal deeds which are his tragic acts, because his fortune undergoes a reversal, because he realizes his error and consequently suffers immensely and dies. But these tragic qualities of his together with his crimes and punishments are integrated in such adroit dramatic and psychological ways that in spite of degenerating into a criminal he commands pity as a tragic hero. Macbeth’s tragedy is that he fools his conscience but cannot kill it for it is deeply, inextricably and poetically rooted in his unconscious. And essentially it is this artifice with which Shakespeare salvages his hero.
Language is a multifaceted human phenomenon that encompasses more than just the mere exchange of words. It serves as the foundation of communication, facilitating the expression of thoughts, emotions, and ideas. Language is a fundamental aspect of human existence, influencing every facet of our lives. Words are the building blocks of language. By using strong words in communication, one can accomplish anything. Language is the basis of literature, which acts as a mirror reflecting society. The writer presents what happens in the society. While many writers have contributed to English literature, William Shakespeare stands out as one of the most influential. He created numerous characters and depicted societal realities. Through his characters, Shakespeare employed powerful words that influenced the course of events. The present study focuses on Shakespeare's character Lady Macbeth, who employs effective words during conversations with her husband, convincing him to kill King Duncan.

Ben Jones asserted that Shakespeare "was not of an age but of all time. Indeed, he is so. Today we can say that Shakespeare is not just a poet of England, but of mankind. And yet, whatever else he was, Shakespeare was not a reformer. Shakespeare is essentially a poet of life. He has accepted the gross and the gold, the beauty and the ugliness. He has, as Middleton Murray aptly describes. 'The supreme power of inclusiveness'. Life and love are inextricably intertwined in Shakespeare's vision, both in the tragedies and the comedies. Love is one of the fundamental instincts of man, shared by the kings and the poor alike, Shakespeare, the chronicler of life, has realized this supreme truth, and that explains his immense popularity. He is a poet of the eternal pain, the human soul in intense emotion has expressed itself in his works, and men and women. Human tastes change, values change, and literary standards are never sacrosanct. A great poet is one who has not only a deep insight into human nature but has also the ability to portray various human feelings and emotions in the most appropriate and eloquent language so as to hold a mirror to life. No mood, no whim, no vice is beyond his ken since human nature is both good and bad, a poet never misses the opportunity of satirizing or condemning vices directly or indirectly, nor does he forget to admire human virtue. We find all this and more in the poetry of William Shakespeare and we can say that here is God's plenty. Shakespeare was a man of divine vision with a deep understanding of human nature, bestowed with the gift of rare poetic talent of highest order. His formal education was little and whatever education or training he received, he received it form Mother Nature. No amount of praise is enough to describe a genius like Shakespeare. No language can do justice to the talent of a great son of Nature. How could a man with so little formal education write such great poetry to be universally acknowledged as the greatest poet of all time is a phenomenon that has puzzled the literary critics of various generation? He was a successful actor. He proved his expertise in adapting old plays for dramatic presentation. He was a successful playwright, a great poet and above all a successful man of business. The poetry of other poets alloy the appetite it feeds but Shakespeare's poetry makes one hungry for further reading. People are never tired of reading his poetry again and again relishing it and finding new interpretations. In the present paper the authors have tried to prove that Shakespeare is the greatest gift of God to humanity.

This study examines the role of women in Shakespeare's Macbeth in Elizabethan era. It also highlights the behavior of evil represented by this character. In order to achieve this objective, this study raised two questions: the first seeks to know why the author depicts women in Elizabethan era as submissive one, the second attempts to see how Shakespeare the power and the influence of Lady Macbeth in her husband in the play Macbeth. As an attempt to answer the previous questions, this study formulates two hypotheses. The first links between powerless and obedience of women to the patriarchal rules in their society. The second relates between the power and the influence of Lady Macbeth in this play. To conduct this research, we have adopted the descriptive analytical method..
