La puerta del palatium de Corduba

Abstract

In this paper we present the new image that recently has acquired the palace of Cercadilla in Córdoba, thanks to the finding of the frontage of the building, that also constitutes the main access to the palace. This new finding gives in addition new relations to the tetrachic architecture, mainly concerning to the application of the same solution in buildings of the time -as it is the case of the Diocletian’s Principia of Palmira or the Villa of Split-, and with the Late Roman aulic architecture.
