This paper examines the relationship between sunlight exposure, quantified as monthly insolation, and the age of onset of bipolar disorder across a diverse population. Analysis of data from 2414 patients highlighted significant correlations between higher maximum monthly insolation and later ages of onset, particularly in certain geographical locations. The findings suggest that environmental factors, such as sunlight exposure, may play a critical role in the timing of bipolar disorder onset.
