This text discusses the educational goal of the viewpoint Al-Quran, which is to optimise teaching and learning methods to help people acclimatise themselves consistently to Allah's will and the teachings of the Prophet SAW. The goal of Al-Qur'anic education is to develop the full potential of every human being, including both male and female individuals, as well as to create harmonious relationships between individuals and Allah. Islamic Education was founded on Islamic teachings and precepts to build mulia akhlak, precepts for selfcontrol, and halus. In addition, the goal of Islamic education is to protect young people, who are the future generation's leaders, from the consequences of the past. The educational methods found in the Qur'an, which encompass a variety of categories that are used and emphasised in the teaching process. Islam education can be more beneficial and effective in raising human dignity and morals.

Abstrak Al-Qur'an bukanlah ilmu melainkan kitab suci yang utama dan pertama serta pedoman hidup bagi umat Islam dalam mencapai kebahagiaan hidup di dunia dan akhirat. Sebagai kitab suci, Al-Qur'an mengajarkan berbagai ajaran yang berkaitan dengan moral, politik, hukum, ekonomi, sosial, sejarah, kebudayaan, teologi, tasawuf, pendidikan, dan lain-lain. Terkait dengan bidang pendidikan, ternyata di dalam Al-Qur'an hanya sedikit yang membahasnya. Namun demikian, meski ayat-ayat tentang pendidikan amat kecil dan terbatas, tapi ia membawa pedoman-pedoman dasar yang perlu dan wajib dipegang dalam mengatur pelaksanaan pendidikan umat.

This article aims to analyze character education in children and how the role of the Qur'an in the face of this era of globalization. The research method used is the study of libraries by analyzing some references from journal articles. The results of this study show that globalization is something we cannot avoid. The evolution of an advanced era brings the advanced technology anyway. Of course, these developments have a very serious impact, such as a decrease in morality and character in the generation of children of the nation. If this is left alone, then it will have a great impact on the development of the country. In the face of such cases, the Quran has a very important role in character education. The values contained in it are very relevant to everyday life. These values are taught by parents and teachers as someone who has an important role in shaping character education in children. Character education is done starting from the family and school environment. By teaching good practices and using technology to help learning. It is hoped that the generation of the nation's children can accept good and can be applied in life as a good character.

Masjid adalah rumah tempat ibadah umat Muslim. Masjid artinya tempat sujud, dan mesjid yang berukuran kecil disebut musholla, langgar atau surau. Ibadah tersebut juga berarti praktek pendidikan agama Islam yang sudah kita dapat sejak kecil, seperti sholat berjamaah dan sholat jum'at. 2 Salah satu fungsi masjid dalam islam adalah sebagai tempat pendidikan dan pengajaran.
