Oleic acid levels on the body surface of ant corpses of Formica japonica increase 48h after death. Live workers also carry the ant corpses 48h after death. In contrast, triglycerides in the hemolymph decrease drastically during the 48h after death. The constituent fatty acids of the triglycerides are linoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitoleic acid, and palmitic acid, which are also found in the free fatty acids in the hemolymph of the ant corpse. The mass spectrum suggests that the major compounds of the triglycerides are triolein and dioleylpalmitin. Large amounts of the oleic acid are stored in the triglycerides. When a worker ant was irradiated with microwaves soon after death, the free fatty acids on the cuticle did not increase much and the triglycerides in the hemolymph did not decrease. However, the amount of triglycerides on the cuticle was more than that on a corpse that was not irradiated. These results suggest that the oleic acid serves as a corpse recognition signal and is generated by enzymatic hydrolysis of triglyceride, with the enzyme activated after death.

rhBMP(骨形成タンパク質)v-FRIOS Algipore(石灰藻由来の多孔質ハイドロキシアパタイト)複合体がラットを用いた直接覆髄実験において効果的に良質な修復象牙質形成を誘導するか検討した。

The Generalized Mutual Assignment Problem (GMAP) is a maximization problem in distributed environments, where multiple agents select goods under resource constraints. Distributed Lagrangian Relaxation Protocols (DisLRP) are peer-to-peer communication protocols for solving GMAP instances. In DisLRPs, agents seek a good quality upper bound for the optimal value by solving the Lagrangian dual problem, which is a convex minimization problem. Existing DisLRPs exploit a subgradient method to explore a better upper bound by updating the Lagrange multipliers (prices) of goods. While the computational complexity of the subgradient method is very low, it cannot detect the fact that an upper bound converges to the minimum. Moreover, solution oscillation sometimes occurs, which is one of the critical issues for the subgradient method. In this paper, we present a new DisLRP with a Bundle Method and refer to it as Bundle DisLRP (BDisLRP). The bundle method, which is also called the stabilized cutting planes method, has recently attracted much attention as a way to solve Lagrangian dual problems in centralized environments. We show that this method can also work in distributed environments. We experimentally compared BDisLRP with Adaptive DisLRP (ADisLRP), which is a previous protocol that exploits the subgradient method, to demonstrate that BDisLRP performed convergence faster with better quality upper bounds than ADisLRP.

It is recognized that making observation to one's sporting motion by oneself is so hard work for swimming sports. Since development of electronic instruments has been progressed, the observation has been possible. As popularization of hard disk recorders(HDD),we are able to observe one's recorded pictures just after finishing one's movement by using HDD. Also by development of water proof CCD camera, taking aqua-photographs for many kind of water sport has been available. We developed a system combining the two functions above mentioned, and studied on exercise of the figure, co-operating with 12 & under age group synchronized swimmers of a synchronized swimming club team in Gunma prefecture. It was found that a remarkable progress in all kind of figures even if they are rookies, and improvement for angle against water surface in thrust. It was recognized that this exercise supporting system by using the instruments was useful for swimming exercise
