Creation in a Dynamic Environment: Art as a Form of Action

This research is concerned with studying (sustainability works in contemporary Iraqi sculpture), and it includes four chapters. The first chapters included the general framework of the research (the research problem, the importance, research aim, limits, and the most important terms that were mentioned in the title of the research). As for the second chapter, it included the theoretical framework and previous studies, the theoretical framework contained two sections first: the sustainability of materials, while the second was concerned with contemporary Iraqi sculpture, and the topic ended with a set of indicators. While the third chapter included the research procedures, which included defining the research community of (30) sculptural works, and selecting the research samples amounting to (4) models in an intentional way, then the research tool, statistical methods, and sample analysis, while the fourth chapter included the results of the research conclusions and a set of recommendations The researcher has reached a number of results, including: -The students were able to assign an expressive and aesthetic value to the manufactured and consumed materials found in the environment and use them in the production of artistic works of aesthetic value -that is, re-converting them from useless materials to a work of art by adopting reduction and alienation in the elements sculptural work.

The artifacts exhibiting the invocation of Nadi Ali in the form of a Lion are amongst the prominent artistic formations produced by the Indian school, Shiite doctrine one, These formations mix the lion's shape with several Arabic scripts to display a unique artistic form, which is considered a model of Portrayed Calligraphy in the form of animals and birds, or rather "Zoomorphic Calligraphy". At first sight, such calligraphies seem a depiction of an animal or a bird's shape, but with a careful scrutiny one figures out it is an outline of a word, or a sentence or maybe a complete text. The research's problem is mainly the shortage of the available Arabic studies about the Portrayed Calligraphy in Islamic art in general, and the artistic models of Nadi Ali's invocation in particular, as the study's sample which will be analyzed through the research is exhibited in worldwide museums, or published in periodicals issued in Foreign Languages. The research aims to give an overview of the portrayed calligraphy in general, make clear the importance of Nadi Ali's invocation for the Shiites, determine the reason for choosing the lion to form the invocation of Nadi Ali, throw light upon the effect of the Iranian art on the Indian one, clarify the utilized scripts in forming the Lion's shape and to describe the utilized colors and vegetal patterns.

The poster design is an international language, it contains a semantic visual content that the designer tries to communicate with the audience with their different cultures , It conveys the advertising idea as visual data that the audience can translate, interact with and perceive, When the advertising designer uses visual metaphor as a design tool, he uses a method that includes a lot of imagination and symbolism which He uses to present his advertising message , Some visual elements can be used as metaphors in advertising design like the verbal metaphors , it also helps us to understand the unfamiliar concepts of audience, and Deliver the message of advertising to them more effectively, and it doesn't seek to Deliver the meaning directly, but It seeks to provide symbolic inferences to form a comprehensive understanding of the presented message and it's The implicit meaning ,And It is well known that The Advertising Affects Souls And Minds Together , The recipient finds himself critical of it , and this response to the ad's compelling benefits helps the designer find the best and most appropriate way to convince his recipients , Sometimes we use the language and image, or they may meet in a single design, to appeal to the recipient , And to provoke positive reactions in it , The metaphorical methods that we are studying are included in the new Rhetoric, which called for such subjects, namely, linking the Rhetoricto different areas of daily use, The Rhetorical Methods (Metaphor, Metonymy) that It formulates are Visual Templates, As a means Of Persuading The Recipient , Overall, Visual Metaphor Is A Different Artistic Vision of Reality, Which Make Metaphoric advertising designs distinct from any other design, Because It Achieves Esthetic dimension that carries a philosophical And Semantic Content.
