L’identità territoriale nella cooperazione decentrata

Abstract

"The objective of the paper is to explain the concept of Territorial Identity and his role in the international cooperation field, more particularly, in the form called "decentralized". The first part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of “territorial identity” and “territory” as a cause and effect in the same time of the identity. Based on this theoretical and conceptual introduction it’s possible describes and examine the processes of territorialization, endogenous and exogenous, especially in sub-Saharan Africa where there were the main effect caused of colonization. The second part of the paper is focused on the issue of decentralized cooperation and its relationship with "deliberative democracy" and territorial identity. Participation , as a result of deliberative democracy, is the fundamental aspect of respect for the identity. Only those who are part of the identity of its territory may suggest cooperation policies aimed to a real development of the local population."
