This article explores the unique spiritual characteristics present in the Gospel of Luke, emphasizing the relationship between biblical texts and their readers. Drawing on Kees Waaijman's definition of spirituality as a divine-human relational process of transformation, it examines Luke's historiographical approach and the spiritual impact of readers participating in the same realities as the narratives. The discussion highlights how these elements contribute to a deeper understanding of biblical spirituality.

The Gospel of Luke is a Gospel with a particular focus on humanity. Luke spends most of his time discussing the human side of things by focusing on humanity’s struggle in this world. The focus can be seen in the birth narratives of John the Baptist and Jesus, placement of women, the poor, tax collectors, sinners, the outcasts, and the despised. The focus shows that the perfect man, Jesus, came to be the savior to all. This paper will demonstrate that Luke presents Jesus as the perfect man who is the savior for all people.
The book of Luke is one of the synoptic Gospels. Written by Dr Luke, this book traces the detailed history and orderly account of the Historical Jesus. This paper highlights some critical points worth considering.

The Lucan narrative is the most extensive literary work of the New Testament and has a complex system of sources, especially if we include its second volume, the Book of Acts. For structuring this article, I have arranged the topics into five sections that highlight the characteristics and foundations of the Lucan narrative from a synchronic perspective and accentuating both its linguistic and theological aspects. The elegance of Lucan feather, the art with which he combines the sources at his disposal and the way in which he exposes his theological priorities make the Gospel a masterpiece that is intricate and rich in form and content. In these pages I will try to highlight the fundamental components and characteristics of its narrative, starting from five thematic axes: The Lucan work as an etiology, the particularity of Lucan synchronisms and their function in the macro-narrative, the management of geographical spaces in the entire Gospel, the importance of the Temple in the narrative, and Jesus’ relationship with his opponents and followers.
