THE LAW OF PHYSICS OF WAR (Pendulum of War

This is another book about war. I spent a goodly number of years doing the research for and writing the monster Physics of War (POW). I say monster on two accounts. First, any book more than 1300 pages in length is monstrous large. Second, the work itself is monstrous in exaggeration. There is not much of a science of war (although quite a bit of science in war,) so calling that earlier work the Physics of War was an exaggeration that enough science was there to merit the name.

A work entitled "Newton's Third Law in Karmic Warfare" is a mathematical visual poem which is a perfect example of a technique, that I call The Paradigm Poem. This piece makes a direct connection with the concept of karma and Newton's Third Law of motion. I will introduce the concept of "The Mathematical Paradigm Poem" to illuminate an example of how metaphor is used in mathematical visual poetry. I will also discuss much of the process in making this aesthetic expression. Author/Artist Bio Kaz Maslanka In 1980 Kaz Maslanka received his BFA in Sculpture from Wichita State University where he also studied music, mathematics and physics. He has been involved in the arts for more than 35 years and has been pioneering mathematical poetry since the early 1980's. He has a strong international presence not only on his blog "Mathematical Poetry" but also with exhibitions of his work. He currently lives in San Diego California and works as an artist as well as an aerospace engineering consultant for a technology company where he leads a group of engineers creating leading edge computer modeling techniques for aerospace manufacturing. He is on the board of directors for the San Diego based "Sonic Arts Studio" a group of composers and musicians devoted to the development and proliferation of microtonal music. He also serves on the advisory board of the Bronowski Art and Science Forum in Del Mar, California.

The International System is a self-organized system that shows emergent behavior. During the timeframe (1495-1945) covered in this study, a finite-time singularity and four accompanying accelerating log-periodic cycles shaped the dynamics of the International System. Each cycle began and ended with a systemic war. During their life span, these cycles show remarkable regularities in their dynamics. The accelerated growth of the connectivity of the regulatory network of the International System, in combination with its anarchistic structure, produce and shape the war dynamics of the system. A peace movement is a social movement which seeks to achieve ideals such as the ending of a particular war (or wars) or minimizing inter-human violence in a particular place or situation. They are often linked to the goal of achieving world peace. A global affiliation of activists and political interests viewed as having a shared purpose and constituting a single movement has been called "the peace movement," or an all-encompassing "anti-war movement". But till then war persists. Time and again human progress has been shocked by war in different parts of the globe. In this article how mathematics, oldest concept of reasoning, quantification and analysing is used in war has discussed.
