Teacher work and performance is a very important topic in education, as teachers play a critical role in shaping and influencing the academic and social development of their students. Teacher performance is a set of behaviors shown by teachers when carrying out their duties and obligations in the field of teaching. This article aims to review the current literature on teacher work and performance, with a focus on the factors that influence teacher performance and their impact on student outcomes. This suggests that high-quality teachers, who have strong pedagogical skills, administrative support, and sufficient resources, are more likely to perform better and have better outcomes from their students. This highlights the need to support and value teachers' work, and emphasizes the importance of inclusion in educational decision-making to ensure that their needs and interests are met.
