Per una rappresentazione matemati

The author starts from the assumption that Mathematics, as every formalized sciences, are the final form of a pre-formal process. Such final form is very important to reach an objective scientific consistence and a sufficient stability, but the high level of formalization of modern mathematics hides all the significations that was originally the reason itself of its to be. The author sustain that this is the main cause of the hostile frame of mind that the majority of peoples shows toward the mathematics. A paradigmatic experience is presented and argued to clarify and support such thesis and to show a possible way to determine a different disposition of the pupils. The proposed way consists essentially to base the teaching on an open-problem strategy that conduce the pupils to build creatively new concepts. The theoretical presupposition of such conceptual constructions are so argued and the role of the new technologies is examined.
