Medical sociology has now become one of the most dynamic, resilient and promising subdisciplines of sociology. The purpose of the article is to present it as an interdisciplinary science, with a double frame of reference (sociology, medicine).While relating to the classical concept of R. Strauss (1957): sociology of/in medicine, authors raise the question of potential and successful cooperation between medical and sociological circles (sociology with medicine). In addition, a few sociomedical issues are discussed in order to illustrate the general problem.

The origins of art therapy are located in the sphere of practice and are asso-ciated with the use of artistic media and forms of activity in the area of art in order to improve the operations of an individual. The development of methods and forms of art therapy activities is accompanied by a weak theoretical foundation, which is the cause of many inaccuracies and misunderstandings. The article is a response to the need to develop the theory of art therapy, it at-tempts to systematize existing knowledge: identifies the main theoretical currents, which are the basis for practical solutions, and discusses the two parallel developing its trends - medical and educational. An important aspect of the discussion is to emphasize the importance of art in art therapy activities. Recenzja książki Magdaleny Hoły-Łuczaj Kształtowalność. Postheideggerowskie pytanie o inny wymiar bycia Recenzowana książka porusza temat nie tylko ważny, ale i aktualny. Z jednej strony próbuje określić niewyodrębniony dotąd w ramach Heideggerowskiej ontologii wymiar bycia (tytułową kształtowalność), z drugiej zaś stara się odsłonić ów wymiar jako istotny dla rozumienia dzisiejszego świata. Spotykamy się tu więc z próbą przemyślenia rzeczywistości, w której obecnie żyjemy w horyzoncie myśli, która teoretycznie od niemal pół wieku już martwej. Refleksja, która narodziła się w określonym momencie w dziejach nie musi bowiem umrzeć wraz z postaciami, które przyniosły ją na świat, ale w sporze ze współczesnymi może na nowo wydać owoce. Na kartach Kształtowalności… droga Heideggera staje się żywą myślą pytającą o rzeczywistość w epoce globalnego ocieplenia, w epoce antropocenu, w epoce, która odkryła, że człowiek jako homo technicus stanowi największe zagrożenie dla siebie i całego świata. Choć Hoły-Łuczaj analizuje tę problematykę tak w swojej poprzedniej książce 1 , jak w licznych artykułach, tym razem posuwa się o krok dalejpróbuje odsłonić przed czytelnikami nowy wymiar rozumienia rzeczywistości.
