TRILHÓGRAFO COMO ESTRATÉGIA PEDAGÓGICA DE EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL

Abstract

The “trilhógrafo” is a pedagogical and methodological strategy proposed for the formation of environmental educators through the recognition of the territory. The aim of this work was to identify the pedagogical potential of the “trilhógrafo” for Environmental Education. This material was inspired by the principles of the Flannelgraph, social cartography and active methodologies and was used in two formative experiences of Environmental Education in the Amazon. From the interpretative analysis of the discussions raised by the use of the material, we have identified that it allow to: (i) map local socio-environmental conflicts; (ii) adress memories; (iii) promote participation and dialogue of social actors in the reflection of the practices that occur in the Conservation Unit; (iv) generate self-reflection on professional activities on the trails and their relationship with the territory from an affective, political and ecological perspective. The “trilhógrafo” became unprecedented at each practice and promoted different reflections on the territory and local trails, contributing to the training of environmental educators.
