TORRES BERNAL, Esther (Guanajuato, México, 27/09/1897 – Ciudad de México, México, sin fecha precisa de fallecimiento pero posterior a febrero de 1975). Esther Torres Bernal, viuda de Morales, como ella mismo se presentaba, fue costurera afiliada a la Federación de Sindicatos del Distrito Federal (FSDF) y militante de la Casa del Obrero Mundial (COM). A los 19 años formó parte del comité organizador de la huelga general de julio de 1916 en la Ciudad de México, única en su tipo en la historia de México hasta el momento. ISSN: ISSN 2718-644X

FACTORES DE RIESGO PARA DIABETES MELLITUS TIPO I EN ESTUDIANTES DE 12 A 15 AÑOS DE EDAD , 3
n 2016, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated that 422 million individuals had diabetes in 2014, compared to 108 million in 1980. Diabetes causing 1.5 million deaths in 2012 and elevations of blood glucose above ideal values caused another 2.2 million deaths due to an increased risk of cardiovascular and other diseases. Diabetes and its complications generate large economic losses for those with diabetes and their families, as well as for health systems and national economies, in the form of direct medical expenses and loss of work and income. To lead a good life despite diabetes, the starting point is early diagnosis; the longer a person lives without diabetes being diagnosed and treated, the worse the health consequences. Therefore, it is important that basic diagnostic tests, such as blood glucose tests, be available in primary care institutions. The present research work arose with the need to publicize the importance of early care for type I diabetes mellitus, since there is a great lack of knowledge of the factors that lead to the presentation of said pathology. The benefits that were provided with the results of the research to high school students are; who knew the good habits, the adequate treatment in the case of presenting the pathology Another benefit will be that nursing sees beyond hospital care and provides new strategies with ethics, responsibility, respect and mainly with humanity that help improve the health of the individual, family and community in the process of health disease through of the nursing care process, helping to solve and satisfy health needs. Having as General Objective to analyze the risk factors of diabetes mellitus type I in students from 12 to 15 years of age of a secondary school in Toluca. To achieve this, an investigation was carried out in which instruments were applied with informed consent to adolescents in order to obtain the information that helps the purpose of it, as well as there is a chapter which helps a better understanding of the subject.
