Palacio da Ajuda, harmônico incompleto

Abstract

The National Palace of Ajuda, is not only a museum that was once a Royal Palace. It´s the landmark of neoclassicism in Lisbon, with described as moderns ruins by Felix Lichnowski and considered as a palace out at elbows by William Thackeray in 1840´s. However, since the 1860s and until 1910 the palace was the ptarget for the good taste of a Queen who brought to him the splendor claimed by Thackeray .
