This dissertation attempts to create a framework based on theoretical Buddhist philosophy for liberation in Buddhist teachings. Referencing an existing literature of commentaries by Buddhist scholars, comparing its main principles and practices with the Tipiṭaka, the authentic discourses of the Buddha. The comparison will help to make sense of the liberation practices and provides a conceptual framework for its methodology. The resulting comparison of both literatures will show the importance of phenomenological discipline in the development of liberation processes. That is the comprehensive and practical strategies for developing a concept that interrelates with diverse Buddhist schools of thoughts.
