For years, language has been a barrier for many companies, and people especially for companies and employees, many companies cannot extend their businesses, and many employees are not able to work in specific countries and specific companies, just because of different languages. Obstacles or issues that prevent information from flowing between a sender and a receiver cause the communication process to fail and are referred to as barriers to effective communication. If someone's words don't make sense to us, every conversation, email, report, and memo will be unproductive. Simple daily tasks might be made difficult by language limitations. As more businesses move overseas, linguistic hurdles may become a worldwide problem. This creates a hindrance in conducting business smoothly. Our project will remove language barriers in business communication worldwide, it will be advantageous for multinational companies and businesses all over the world. Our project will help to extend their business overseas without any language hindrance. Our project will be a platform where one can convert all types of text documents, audio, and video transcripts to any other language. We make use of python libraries and django for translating documents and audio files. This web application will prevent miscommunications, misunderstandings, and conflicts. It will convey thoughts, ideas, and instructions more effectively.

The paper analyzed the problem of accessibility of content in other languages, it was found that many content may not be translated into the native language of users who want to access it, but at the same time there are many who want to help other users with this problem. The solution is a special information system that allows you to easily register and create your own translation, in which other users can participate, or join another already created one and help. As a result, the interested user can easily download the translation result and use it at his own discretion. The analysis of business processes for the creation and translation of the text was carried out. Based on this analysis, requirements for a future solution were developed. Business requirements were also identified. Among other things, a system use case model was developed and use case specifications were described. Lists with functional and non-functional requirements have also been developed. The functional model of the system was shown - algorithms: authorization, registration, password recovery, creating a new translation, generating a file with a new translation, generating a list of translations, managing users, viewing a translation, editing a translation text, checking the correctness of a translation, and moderating translations. A class diagram was developed, where you can see the main entities of the system and their relationships. A sequence diagram was also developed. The architecture of the information system was described. The system was implemented using the React.JS library and the Spring framework. The main processes of the system users were also described

A language translator is a mobile application that can be utilized for translating from one language to another. The problem of language difference has hindered effective information communication over the years. This traditional approach used for solving the problem of language differences has not been productive and favorable. The study develops an android language converter app in order to make learning and language translation easy and facilitates stress-free communication. The system will also be able to evaluate language translation to determine their suitability for everyday conversation.

Through this translator program, it is craved that it can avail the general public to understand foreign language videos, can be useful in the world of education and technology, and can avail the persons with disabilities be up to communicate. The method used is a classification method that functions to detect the flow of shapes to instruct the class attribute as the task of the input attribute by generating automatic output through three stages, namely Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Speech. The results showed that 90.38% of videos were successfully translated into text and audio, 9.62% of videos failed to be translated because the owner limited public interaction, and 89%-97% synchronization between text and audio. In this research, a text and audio translator program has been created using the Application Programming Interface (API). This program is a configuration of deep learning, machine translation, and text-to-speech designed using the high-level programming language python. The system used is a predictive system in which the system tries to predict the output equally the wishes of the user.

The Language Translation Interface (LTI) is a prototype developed for the Australian Defence Organisation. The aim is provide a single, simple, interface to a variety of MT tools and utilities for personnel who need to produce translations when they have no easy access to human translators. Now that the LTI has been demonstrated and trialled at several military exercises, we are gathering user requirements to further develop it as the Language Translation Tools Suite. This paper describes the functionalities of the LTI and reports on our experience with users during development, leading to future improvements.
In recent years, a myriad of software has revolutionised the translation sector. This article presents a series of translation tools commonly used in the translation industry, depicting their main features and the way they have transformed the translation process from project assessment to delivering client-ready documentation. This article is written from a translator's perspective and aims at explaining how this software is included in the intricacy of a translation project.
The spread of information and communication technology (ICT) has revolutionized the way we share in-formation. Collaborative tools have a great importance for teaching-learning activities, so as to assist in the dissemination of knowledge. In the area of education, the Brazilian Sing-Language translator or just Libras translator and interpreter is the main agent enabling the communication between teachers and Deaf students. This specialist needs to overcome different challenges, such as proficiency in the lan-guages they translate, interpretation techniques, history and deaf culture. They also must lead with to specific contents taught to the Deaf student during different disciplines. This paper presents the develop-ment of a collaborative tool called InterLib, which has as main objective the qualification of these pro-fessionals toward these specific contents through the socialization and dissemination of knowledge. Thus, in regards of the lack of specific technologies for this purpose, a mobile application was developed aim-ing at facilitating the interactivity and collaboration of the Libras interprets.

This paper presents challenges being faced in designing automatic translation software. There are many approaches to automatic translation like Direct, Rule based, Transfer based, Statistical based and Interlingua. A brief description of all the approaches and their advantages and drawbacks are discussed. Universal Networking Language (UNL) based on Interlingua approach can be used especially for translation among multiple languages because it requires knowledge of UNL and of the language which user wants UNL to support. User can then get translated text in any of the languages supported by UNL without even being oblivious to any other language. It is less expensive approach also. This paper also gives brief introduction to UNL and how it can overcome many of the challenges in translation.

The ALSBALT Project aims to develop a system for providing translation services, both raw and post-edited, as a value-added extension of available business communication services in the Internet and Internet-like networks. Small and medium-sized enterprises are the primary target group. The system will be composed of available modules and missing links will be developed. For the first prototype, the languages Finnish, Swedish and German are envisaged. The keynote speech was given by Alex Waibel (Carnegie Mellon and Karlsruhe) on the topic of Spoken Language Translation-Bridging the Language Divide. The key question discussed by Waibel was whether language technologies and translators are enemies or partners. These two elements are certainly partners when the challenge of doing business despite cultural differences is to be supported by both. The question is: How to bridge the gap? English is certainly not enough, despite the ubiquitous use of English as an international lingua franca. It is interesting to look at some figures on the translation industry: it turns out that translation needs are growing by 30% a year, there are about 400 000 translators worldwide, and about 150 000 translators in Europe. But also in speech communication there are interesting figures, e.g. that only 1% of 300 000 conferences that take place every year are actually interpreted. In the multimedia sector this percentage of the content is available multilingually is even lower, although this percentage is gradually rising.

The Philippines is a home of different languages. Languages are vital weapons of communicating with others and expressing points in the society more importantly in Education. Based from Department of Education, there are 12 major languages as part of K+12 Education System. Among these is Waray, language spoken by people from Samar, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, and Leyte. According to the Department of Education, the implementation of K+12 Education System in the country is the used of mother tongue as medium of instructions from Kindergarten to Grade 3. The development of the software is to translate instructional materials written in English to Waray language. The software could accept word, sentence, phrase, and document file with .doc and .docx extensions written in English to be translated in Waray language. In addition, the capabilities to add new words and rules, update of dictionary, and search for word and rule are part of the translator. The development of the translator used Rule-Based Algorithm that includes parsing, searching, and matching of words inside the database. The translator can translate document file and words from English to Waray Language. In addition, existing dictionary and rule can be modified and added inside the database. Test and evaluation results validated that the prototype could be an alternative way of translating instructional materials written in English to Waray language.

The increasing use of language technologies has prompted an interest in their impact on cognitive processes and translation products. Potential issues related to human-machine interactions include working conditions, time and resource management, and emotional factors. Drawing on a large corpus of translation processes collected from professionals and students, we discuss the nature of translation as a cognitive and organizational activity. We argue that professional translators need to take increased ownership of language technology tools at every stage: in their development, their application, and their integration into organizational processes. This has implications for industry standards, models of translation expertise, and translation didactics.

The Voice and Text Translator is about translating one form of speech to another. This is a multi-tasking project which can perform various tasks at the same time. The definition of voice recognition should be taken into account, as it is often correlated with the process of identifying a person from his or her voice, i.e., the recognition of a speaker. The main aim of this app is to provide a mechanism for Speech to Speech. It further provides the mechanism for Speech to Text, Text to Speech, and also Text to Text in various languages. This software which deals with speech recognition has to get adapted to the unpredictable and highly variable nature of the human race. Every algorithm that is involved in the speech recognition process is tested and trained on different speaking styles, languages, accents, phrasings, or speaking patterns. Moreover, all these softwares also have to separate the actually spoken speech(audio) from the unwanted background noise that often accompanies these signals. This also contains some advanced features like voice recognition, understanding, and conversion, which are difficult for a machine to perform. But nowadays AI and ML are dominating the Tech. At its core, this project is built in the python programming language. Python is known for its rich and vast library and its usage in almost all kinds of projects. So, this Translator also contains some very precious modules of Python like Google-Trans, gTTs, etc. A broad array and series of research in the fields of computer science and linguistics are used in the speech recognition process. To have an easier life or to take part in the trending technologies that include hands-free use of any device, almost all the modern devices are adapting and shifting towards integrating speech recognition functions into their device and making up with the new trending technologies.

The system used in Language to Language Translation is the phrases spoken in one language are immediately spoken in other language by the device. Language to Language Translation is a three steps software process which includes Automatic Speech Recognition, Machine Translation and Voice Synthesis. Language to Language system includes the major speech translation projects using different approaches for Speech Recognition, Translation and Text to Speech synthesis highlighting the major pros and cons for the approach being used. Language translation is a process that takes the conversational phrase in one language as an input and translated speech phrases in another language as the output. The three components of language-to-language translation are connected in a sequential order. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is responsible for converting the spoken phrases of source language to the text in the same language followed by machine translation which translates the source language to next target language text and finally the speech synthesizer is responsible for text to speech conversion of target language.

Recent years have witnessed the rapid development of translation technology, which has achieved tremendous success in both academia and industry. Due to these rapid advances, it is clear that technology has already profoundly affected the way translation is produced. More recently, translation technology – ranging from translation-specific technologies such as MT to more general-purpose speech technologies and cloud computing – calls into question some of the assumptions about how, by whom, and to what level of quality translation should be done. Commercially viable translation today is almost entirely the computer-aided variety, given the ubiquitous use of computers in text production practices (O’Hagan, 2020).
Web 3.0 (Semantic Web) is considered a leap forward in people’s interaction with the web. It is based on refining the search and creating multimedia reports that contain relevant information gathered from multiple sources. Still, this attempt also includes the need for a common language and software able not only to extract and unite data, but also to translate the information and make it available to a larger public.
Translation technologies constitute an important new field of interdisciplinary study lying midway between computer science and translation. Its development in the professional world will largely depend on its academic progress and the effective introduction of translation technologies in the translators training curriculum. In this paper different approaches to the subject are examined so as to provide us with a basis on which to conduct an internal analysis of the field of Translation technologies and to structure its content. Following criteria based on professional practice and on the idiosyncrasy of the computer tools and resources that play a part in translation activity, we present our definition of Translation technologies and the field classified in five blocks.

This paper studies the pros and cons of using mobile applications like Google Translate as a translation tool for non- Arabic speakers in Saudi Arabia. Translation Apps are simple to use, cost-free, and capable of providing direct translations. Some of them, like Google Translate, support many languages, making it an essential tool for people who need to translate material swiftly or survive in a foreign country. However, employing these tools has certain disadvantages as well. Although Translation Apps can be a helpful tool, it is vital to use caution and consider any potential drawbacks. The paper will highlight the challenges non-Arabic speakers face while decoding the texts and whether these apps can bridge linguistic gaps between the two cultures. The biggest issue with translating text or images with text is correctness and perfection, especially regarding creative and scientific works or contextual texts. The study's objectives are to examine the pros and cons of Translation Apps and the challenges and possible solutions concerning translating Arabic into English.
In daily life of people, messengers or chatting applications provides ability for instantaneous messaging over the internet. Exchange of messages takes place in unanimously used languages like English. where both the users identify how to communicate in a general language. Thus chatting on mobile phones is a comfort when both the parties concerned know a common language. Hence we are implementing application which is a Android based chatting application which makes cross language statement possible using mobile networking technology and programming. This application will facilitate the communication between two user irrespective of the language each user wishes to use independently. The variety of modes of communication accessible in this messenger is through text. Due to the best dispensation power provided among the accessible smart phones and elevated battery life we choose to work on Android platform. Thus we trying to implemented app that will connection the language barrier and enable simplicity of communication through this application.
