W jednym z wywiadów udzielonych w kwietniu 1977 roku na łamach włoskiego komunistycznego czasopisma „L’Espresso” Julia Kristeva dostrzegła konieczność powiązania dyskursów awangardowych z feministyczną praktyką: Uważam, że zadaniem współczesnego ruchu feministycznego jest wynalezienie takiej formy anarchizmu, która wyraziłaby swoim zachowaniem i działaniem dyskurs historycznej awangardy: destrukcję (tradycyjnego) zachodniego podmiotu. Przykładem takich praktyk, zdaniem autorki La revolution du langage poétique (1974), może być – oprócz Comte’a, de Lautréamonta i Stéphane’a Mallarmégo – twórczość Ezry Pounda i Louisa-Ferdinanda Celine’a, poetów sympatyzujących z faszyzmem i jawnie kontestujących jakiekolwiek działania anarchistyczne (Fragment tekstu)

Styk twórczości i biografii jest wciąż zagadkowy dla badaczy, a próba zarzucenia rozważań w tym obszarze wydaje się nietrwała. Psychologia może być i niejednokrotnie okazuje się atrakcyjnym towarzyszem poszukiwań tych niejasnych związków, choć teoretycy literatury sięgający do niej upodobali sobie głównie psychoanalizę jako metodę interpretacji 1. Odwołania do biografii są i możliwe, i od dawna obecne, również bez sięgania do psychoanalizy, lecz, w kontekście odżegnywania się czy dezaprobaty dla tego kierunku poszukiwań, wyrażane są nader ostrożnie i niejako na marginesie głównych rozważań. I tak Andrzej Franaszek, doszukując się danych biograficznych w wierszu Zbigniewa Herberta Mój ojciec, pisze: "W tym nostalgicznym, nieco baśniowym obrazie znajdziemy więcej biograficznych szczegółów, niżby nam chciała pozwolić szkolna polonistyka" 2 ; Julia Hartwig zaś, choć zaznaczając, że "życie nie zawsze dobrze jest mieszać z twórczością", napisała: "dwa wiersze Głos wewnętrzny i Kołatka to jakby dwa

Brought out of the shadow The article discusses Adam Mickiewicz.Proza artystyczna: opowiadania, szkice, fragmenty. Prose artistique: contess, essais, fragments, which is a bilingual (French-Polish) endeavour in translation and editing – broadly speaking, one of historical and literary character. The book was edited by Joanna Pietrzak-Thébault in collaboration with whom Maria Prussak, Krzysztof Rutkowski and Jacek Wójcicki. Maria Prusak initiated the project and coordinated the proceedings of the team. Mickiewicz’s works in French received new translation and were edited anew.

Avatars of Contemporary Translators: the Copyist and the CompilerThe aim of the paper is to discuss the latest market and commercial tendencies which contribute to the development of new functions of the translator on the literary market. Based on studies by Anna Moc and Krzysztof Fordoński as well as the author’s own analysis of the latest literary translations from English into Polish, this analysis aims at describing two new roles of the translator determined by market criteria.

The book written by Wojciech Sady is an interesting and inspiring attempt to reconstruct the mechanism of the revolution that took place in physics at the beginning of the 20th century. As part of the attempts to characterize the process of the emergence of special relativity theory and the old quantum theory, author also raises the issue of the role of genius and imagination in the process of searching for new scientifi c theories. The work is based on rich factual material, however, has several weaknesses and-as it seems-several places that would not require greater precision. This work aims to identify these points.

The article discusses the key text of Mieczysław Porębski(1921-2012), an outstanding Polish art historian and art critic, which is vital for understanding his proposed idea of ​​creating a metacritical language that would allow description of the contemporary art world − Introduction to Metacriticism (first edition around 1966, second 1983). All Porębski's publications on this subject are mentioned in the article to obtain a full picture of this concept in the researcher's writings. The importance of creating it for critical-artistic methods is emphasized. The sources of inspiration for the idea of ​​metacriticism (including bibliographic ones) and the implementation of its assumptions in the text itself are shown, taking into account the approximate mid-twentieth century historical context of methodologies developed on the basis of structuralist reflection, especially the influence of information theory and game theory.
