От автора В этот сборник собраны подготовленные автором и, частично, уже опубликованные статьи в различных газетах, а также материалы, написанные в процессе подготовки к лекциям, интервью на американском радио и телевидении. В этой книге нет никаких открытий, она не претендует на какие-то новые научные выводы. Я надеюсь, что эта книга, как и предыдущие, а также мои выступления с лекциями, в средствах массовой информации, помогут заинтересованному читателю, гораздо быстрее понять и включиться в систему современных экономических знаний и отношений, существующих в мире, и будут практическим руководством при принятии важных финансовых решений. При создании этой книги автор не ставил перед собой задачу написать нечто похожее на учебник. Эта книга носит просветительный характер, решает более скромную задачу, а именно помочь широкому кругу читателей-не профессиональных экономистов и не прошедших обучение в американских учебных заведениях, но заинтересованно интересующихся политическими и экономическими событиями происходящими вокруг нас и желающих, несколько детальнее, понимать определённые ситуации, которые имеют место быть в экономических процессах происходящих в мире, иметь более чёткое и глубокое представление, а также понимание, широко употребляемой в современных средствах массовой информации, экономической терминологии и различных определений. Также, этот сборник позволит познакомиться со взглядами некоторых выдающихся учёных-экономистов о возможных направлениях развития экономики в будущем. Кроме того, заинтересованно преследует цель убедить читателя в необходимости уважительного отношения к законам экономики и осторожности при встречах с не достоверной, не профессиональной информацией о тех или иных событиях в мире и их оценке. Работая над книгой, я, строго руководствовался мудростью древнейшей притчи. Однажды царь пригласил трёх мудрецов и попросил их объяснить ему сообщение о том, что если в ведро с водой опустить рыбу, то вода из ведра не выльется. Первый мудрец стал объяснять это ссылаясь на толкования различных летописей, древнейших книг, манускриптов, посланий, оставленных мудрецами других стран. Второй мудрец пытался это объяснить расположением небесных светил, ссылками на различные календари, гороскопы и т. д. А третий мудрец, молча, взял ведро, налил в него воды и опустил рыбу. И вода из ведра вылилась. Правда, через много лет это «узаконил» древнегреческий математик, физик и инженер из города Сиракузы на острове Сицилия Архимед (287до н.э.-212 до н.э.) законом: «На погружённое в жидкость тело, действует выталкивающая сила, равная весу объёма жидкости, вытесненного частью тела, погружённой в жидкость». Вот поэтому читатель найдёт в текстах множество цифр, таблиц и фактов имевших место быть. International countertrade transactions are the specific legal instrument developed as a part of the autonomous international business law, which is known as the new lex mercatoria. Those are complex multicontractual legal arrangements in which specific links are created betwen export and import supply contracts. Inspite the fact that countertrade in variety of its forms is wide-spread commercial operation, there is consensus in legal theory and practice neither about its terminology nor a typology and legal nature of countertrade contracts. In legal writing has been generally accepted concept of countertrade as compensatory arrangemments, and this approach is representing with the term "international compensation transaction". Article analizes main features of countertrade transactions, and renders, including results of an economic research, a new approach in defining legal nature and consideration of international countertrade transactions.
