This study aims to describe the forms of women's existence representation in the novel "Terusir" by Hamka. The research data was collected using a qualitative descriptive method with a literary feminism approach. Data collection techniques included library research, reading, and note-taking. The data analysis employed a descriptive approach, involving data classification, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study reveal the forms of women's existence representation in three aspects. Firstly, the character of Mariah depicts various characteristics of women, such as honesty, independence, perseverance, patience, weakness, bravery, fear, goodness, and submission. Secondly, women's existence is manifested as a strategy of resistance, including their ability to work, become intellectuals, bring about social transformations, and reject gender discrimination. This research explained the characterization Mbak Wid feminism in the context of feminist existentialist Simone de Beauvoir. This research aims to determine the form of existentialist feminism characterizations Mbak Wid. The approach used is qualitative approach to reading, understanding, analyzing, appreciating, and then carried out criticism. Data obtained in the form of a quote then described or explained back his point. Related to the purpose of the research, the results showed that the feminine form characterizations Mbak Wid refer to figures: doctor, astrologer, mother, intellect. unique person, and a hard worker. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the role of women experienced by characters in Tulus Setiyadi novel Cinencang Lawe. As the author, Tulus Setiyadi describes the role of women in the novel Cinencang Lawe. The method used in this writing is qualitative research. The research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourses which contain elements regarding the role of women. The theory used is feminism with a focus on the role of women and their efforts in dealing with problems. The techniques used in this research are reading and note taking techniques. The results of this study are there are two roles of women in each character in the novel Cinencang Lawe, namely the domestic role in the household and the public role in society and the social sphere as described Darmini, Lik Wiji, Mbok Yem, Juragan Lamini dan Ibu Narji.

This research aims to describe the form of marginalization as the others and the form of resistance as a form of existence in the novel Perempuan Batih by A. R. Rizal. It ’ s based on the approach of existentialist feminism Simone de Beauvoir. The data of this study are descriptions which reveal the forms of marginalization as others and resistance as a form of existence in the novel Perempuan Batih . Data collection is done by reading, recording, and making data corpus techniques. Research data were analyzed using Simone de Beauvoir's existentialist feminism theory. The image of prostituted women always gets a negative stigma in society. Therefore, various studies are needed to understand the ins and outs and portraits of prostitutes in various literatures. This study aims to describe the representation of female prostitutes in Maman Suherman's Re:. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that indicate the representation of female prostitutes in the novel. The data source in this study is the novel Re: by Maman Suherman, published by Prima Grafika in Jakarta in 2014 which consists of 161 pages, which is the first printing. Film berjudul Siti yang disutradarai oleh Eddie Cahyono berhasil memenangkan ajang Festival Film Indonesia pada 2015. Film yang ditayangkan terbatas ini berkisah mengenai peran seorang ibu, istri, sekaligus pencari nafkah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan representasi perempuan dalam film Siti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes. Dari film ini, setidaknya ada tiga hal yang bisa dikemukakan sebagai penekanan. Pertama, film ini tidak keluar dari sosok Siti (sosok perempuan yang lemah, tabah, dan kuat). Kedua, unsur lokalitas tetap dibangun tanpa dipermainkan. Ketiga, sajian sinematik yang minimalis dan sederhana menjadikan setiap pesan dalam film ini bisa tersampaikan dengan baik. Sekalipun film ini hadir dalam ruang kontradiktif satu sama lain, karena mengangkat dan menggambarkan sosok perempuan Jawa yang hidup dalam kesumukan budaya patriarkal, bukan berarti film ini membawa/menyuarakan paradigma feminis atau keadilan/ketidakadilan gender.

The purposeof this studyweredescribe: (1) self-image and social image profeminis character women, (2) self-image and social image kontrafeminis character women. The data of this study were female character and image of women. Sources of data in this study is novel Paradise Lost MiraW works published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2010. Data collected with descriptive methods and techniques detailed description. The study's findings are image profeminis figures in the novel Paradise Lost, among others Wiwiek Sartono, Tina and Lina. The characters in the novel kontrafeminis Paradise Lost, among others Lestari Prihatini, Mother, Intan Inawati, Lila and Bi Umi. Images of women in this novel consists of : (1) women's selfimage that reflects the character of adult women who choose and determine attitudes and feelings through reasonableness, (2) the social image of women that reflects the character is good or bad behavior of leaders in the community. Kata kunci: profeminis, kontrafeminis, novel A. Pendahuluan Kaum wanita sering dianggap sebagai makhluk yang diciptakan hanya untuk mengurusi rumah tangga. Wanita kurang mendapat kesempatan untuk mengembangkan dirinya menjadi seseorang yang mampu berkarir seperti halnya laki-laki. Kurangnya pengakuan terhadap kemampuan sebagai seseorang yangbisa berkarir menimbulkan permasalahan dalam diri wanita itu sendiri, karena wanita juga ingin mengembangkan potensi yang ada pada dirinya. Sejak tahun 1920-an sampai sekarang sastra Inonesia memperlihatkan permasalahan yang seirama dengan perkembangan sosial dengan kebudayaan bangsa Indonesia, salah satu permasalahan yang cukup Indonesia diperlihatkan sastrawan dan diproyeksikan dalam karya sastra adalah masalah feminisme.Selama ini, wanita selalu berada di belakang laki-laki. Hal inilah yang membangkitkan semangat kaum wanita untuk menuntut keadilan dan persamaan hak. Para feminis menjunjung tinggi wanita yang tidak menikah dan tidak melahirkan bayi. Para feminis juga mendukung wanita yang beraktifitas di luar rumah. Wanita yang merasa puas dan bahagia dengan hanya semata-mata mengurus keluarga dan rumah tangganya akan ditentang oleh para feminis. Sebaliknya, wanita yang bercita-cita untuk dengan berbagai cara mengembangkan diri menjadi manusia yang mandiri lahir dan batin didukung oleh gerakan feminis (Djajanegara, 2003:50).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan feminism pada novel “Kekang” karya Stefani Bella. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menjelaskan aliran feminisme liberal dan bentuk perjuangan tokoh yang terdapat dalam novel “Kekang” karya Stefani Bella. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu: membaca berulang-ulang novel, menulis dan menandai kata serta kalimat yang terdapat pada data, mengelompokan data yang berkaittan dengan pendekatan feminisme, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) Aliran feminisme yang terdapat pada novel “Kekang” karya Stefani Bella. (2) Bentuk perjuangan tokoh yang terdapat pada novel “Kekang” karya Stefani Bella.

The purpose of this article to describe the image of women in novel Aku Bukan Budak by Astina Triutami, the review of the two aspects , namely (a) the image of women as individuals and, (b) the image of women as members of society. The data of this study are sentences or section of novel text about the image of women. Analyzing techniques (1) described the structure of the novel Aku Bukan Budak by Astina Triutami, (2) classify data relating to the images of women, (3) interpret the data relating to the images of women, ( ) analyze and inventory of data relating to the images of women, ( ) concluded the research of data, (6) writing the report. The study's findings that the image of women in novel Aku Bukan Budak by Astina Ttiutami is the image of women as an individuals involves the images of women patient, graceful, kindly and as members of the society that includes concern for others, and relationship with environment and other people.
