Greg founded Abel Communications in 2005 after more than a dozen years working professionally in journalism, sports marketing, corporate communications and agency public relations. Around the office, the team jokes that Greg knows someone just about everywhere in Baltimore and beyond, and his network has brought tremendous connections and opportunities to the firm. He often leads media training workshops for clients and regularly writes and speaks publicly about business leadership. He is a member of the Executive Committee of Public Relations Society of America's Counselors Academy, a national network of independent agency owners and a past member of the board of Park Heights Renaissance. With a passionate focus on company culture and growth, Greg was named one of 2017's Most Admired CEOs by The Daily Record and Abel Communications has twice been named a finalist for the Baltimore Business Journal's Best Places to Work. He is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in English and Journalism.

Jessica Fast is a senior communications strategist and consultant with nearly two decades of PR and marketing experience and has been with Abel Communications since 2014. She oversees agency-wide client service and success, guides high-impact strategy and program execution, and champions culture, talent development, and service innovation across the firm. Jessica’s expertise spans health and wellness, professional services, and nonprofits/public affairs, with a focus on measurable outcomes, Thought Leadership, and integrated earned-plus-digital programs. A recognized industry contributor, she has been honored by The Maryland Daily Record, the Baltimore Business Journal, PRSA, and the U.S. Department of Defense. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in Communications and Business Administration from Flagler College and an M.S. in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.

Cindy has a strong background in banking and finance and oversees the daily operations of Abel Communications, including bookkeeping, time management, human resources and client on-boarding. Over the last year she has also taken a very active role in supporting Abel's business development efforts. She's a key member of our leadership team and also well known for fixing anything and everything that could possibly break or go wrong, gaining the nickname of Office Mom. Prior to Abel, Cindy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Towson University with a focus in Accounting. A former member of the Tigers gymnastics team, she'll occasionally walk on her hands across the office. Cindy is very active within the community and has recently served on the board of HASA and participated in board activities for Notre Dame Preparatory School. She also coaches a local competitive gymnastics team in her spare time.

Mara is a Senior Account Manager with more than a decade of PR experience. She is known for decisive media strategy, dynamic storytelling, and trusted client counsel. She has led programs spanning professional services, health and wellness, consumer, and nonprofit sectors—securing coverage at the local, national, and international levels and turning client priorities into measurable outcomes. At Abel, Mara leads integrated PR and content programs that blend strategy with execution—building media relationships, shaping narratives, and driving visibility through earned, digital, and Thought Leadership campaigns. A graduate of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), Mara is based in Charleston, SC, where life revolves around her two fun-loving kids and a running list of must-try restaurants with her husband.
"When I was 15, I made a bet with my parents that if I scored 3 goals in my championship soccer game, we could adopt the dog I'd been obsessing over on the local shelter website. I scored 4 goals, so I guess you could say I'm a bit of an overachiever—and that's how my family got our dog, Dingo."
Martin is an award-winning, multidisciplinary creative leader, structuring the agency’s creative work, building brands, crafting messages, and designing campaigns to help clients better tell their stories. He has over a decade of experience as a brand consultant for nonprofits and has area expertise in professional services, distilling complex topics in technology, human resources, and wealth management into accessible Thought Leaderships campaigns. His work has garnered industry recognition including “Best in Maryland” PRSA awards for content marketing campaigns and creative tactics, as well as finalist medal for the Bowery advertising awards for his publication design.
Martin graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in theatre, specializing in multimedia design. Additional training includes Design Thinking workshops with Stanford d.school grads, a Sandler Sales Technique certification, and too many YouTube videos about troubleshooting Adobe Premier. Outside Abel, Martin is a playwright, performer, and educator. He enjoys elaborate coffee drinks, running medium distances, and hanging out with his dog.

Nick serves as the primary day-to-day client contact and account lead for several Abel clients. He directs client success and program execution, while consulting on PR and marketing strategy, advising integrated media strategy, and developing high-impact content. With deep experience in crisis communications, Nick also supports crisis preparedness and response. Nick earned his master’s in communication from Johns Hopkins University and his bachelor’s in business administration from Loyola University Maryland. When he’s not onsite with clients or staffing media interviews, you can find Nick in the office joined by his award-winning corgi, Marie.

Rosina is an Account Manager with several years of experience planning and executing targeted media campaigns, thought leadership, and strategic counsel that advances business objectives for a range of clients. Rosina brings background in representing B2B and B2C companies across AI, health tech, sustainability, and robotics, securing high-impact placements in top-tier publications and industry trades. Rosina earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from James Madison University, where she helped launch the university’s first student-run PR agency and led projects for local organizations, the foundation for shaping her agency craft. Beyond the pitch, you’ll find her unwinding with the New York Times Crossword or in the kitchen, usually cooking something with mushrooms and garlic.
