New Feature: Pickup Points (Version 9.4.0)
In the latest update, WP Travel version 9.4.0 introduces a new feature—Pickup Points. This enhancement allows customers to select their preferred pickup location during the checkout process, providing them with greater flexibility and convenience.
Set Pickup Points for a Trip
- Access the Trip Settings:
- Navigate to
Admin Panel > Tripsin your WordPress dashboard. - Select the trip you wish to modify or create a new one.
- Navigate to
- Configure Pickup Points:
- Scroll down to the Locations section under the Trip Options.
- Enter the pickup points where passengers can be collected.
- Save Changes:
- Ensure you save your updates to apply the new pickup points.
The pickup locations will be displayed on the trip page, as shown in the attached screenshot.
Selecting Pickup Points During Checkout
- Choose Your Trip:
- Select the trip you wish to book and specify the number of passengers. This will redirect you to the checkout process.
- Select Pickup Point:
- During checkout, you will see a dropdown menu or selection field for pickup points.
- Choose your preferred pickup location from the available options.
- Complete the Booking:
- Continue with the checkout process as usual.
Additionally, the selected pickup point will be included in the booking confirmation email sent to both the admin and the customer, as shown in the attached screenshot.
