The Contact Form feature in WP Maps is a helpful fallback for users who don’t find a store location near them.
Instead of displaying an empty result, it gives users a direct way to reach out, improving customer engagement and reducing bounce rates.

What It Does #
When a user performs a search and no matching stores are found, WP Maps can display a contact form in the result area. This allows users to:
- Inquire about upcoming store availability
- Request store locations in their area
- Share contact information for future follow-up
The form typically includes fields like Name, Email, Message, and optionally, Location Searched.
Uses and Benefits #
- Captures Lost Leads: Turns a no-result page into a chance for customer connection.
- Customer Support Channel: Let users report location issues or request information.
- Improved UX: Avoids dead ends in user journeys, keeping users engaged.
- Data Collection: Helps you identify underserved areas and potential expansion zones.
This feature is especially useful for new or growing businesses with limited store coverage.
How to Enable #
To enable the contact form:
- Log in to your WP Maps account and click on the “Widgets” tab.
- Click on “Install Widget”.
- Under the “UI Setting” section, locate the “Contact Form” button
- Toggle the button on or off
- Save the settings
