Post Type Switcher

The Post Type Switcher module lets you easily change the post type of existing WordPress content. With a simple dropdown in the editor, you can convert posts into pages (or other post types) without losing content—perfect for reorganizing or repurposing your site.

How to use

To enable the Post Type Switcher Module:

1. Click on the “Posts & Pages” category
2. Search or scroll to locate the Post Type Switcher Module
3. Click on the switch to enable

What’s next?

This module adds a Post Type Switcher meta box to your post editing screens, allowing you to:

• Change a post’s type without losing any content
• Repurpose content across different sections of your site
• Access the switcher from the post edit screen sidebar

To change a post’s type:

1. Edit the post you want to change
2. Find the “Post Type Switcher” meta box in the sidebar
3. Select the new post type from the dropdown
4. Click “Switch” and confirm the change

The post will be immediately converted to the new type while keeping all your content intact. Note that some fields or settings specific to the original post type may not be available in the new type.
