Unlimited traffic. No overages. Ever.
WP Cloud bills per site, per month, based on the resources you configure – PHP workers and storage. Not traffic, not bandwidth, not pageviews. No upfront costs, no minimums. Your exact rates and a pricing calculator are in the partner portal.
Reduce costs by up to 60% with volume discounts – tiers shown in your partner portal.
You set the plans. We handle the infrastructure.
Every site you create on WP Cloud is billed monthly based on four things: how many PHP workers + CPUs it’s allocated, how much storage it uses, PHP memory units, and whether bursting is enabled. That’s it.
You set these per site, you can change them anytime, and you’re never locked into a plan structure we invented. You decide how to package and price hosting for your customers. We don’t dictate your plans, your margins, or your go-to-market. Some partners sell $10/month starter plans. Others sell $700/month enterprise tiers. Same platform underneath.
PHP workers
Each worker gets its own CPU core. Configure 1–10 per site; higher counts available on request.
Storage
DB size, backups, failover replicas, and CDN image sizes don’t count against your quota. Only what you actually store.
Bursting
Let a site scale to 110+ workers during traffic spikes, then scale back down. Toggle it on or off per site, anytime.
PHP memory
Allocated in 512 MB units – 1 unit per worker by default, upgradeable to 2, 3, or 4 units (up to 2,048 MB) for more demanding applications. Worker fees scale linearly with memory allocation.
What you’re paying for
Volume pricing kicks in as your site count grows. Your portal shows the tiers that apply to your account.
| Resource | Default | Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHP workers | 10 per site | 1–10 higher on request | Each worker gets its own CPU core. Primary cost lever. |
| Storage | 200 GB | 1 GB min, billable from 25 GB | DB size, backups, failover replicas, and CDN image sizes don’t count against quota. |
| PHP memory | 512 MB per worker | Up to 2,048 MB | Most sites never need to touch this. Available if they do. |
| Bursting | Enabled | On/off per site | Lets a site scale to 110+ workers during traffic spikes. |

You only pay for production sites
WP Cloud recognizes four site types. You control which type each site is via the API or your panel.
Production sites. This is what you’re invoiced for.
One free per billable site. Not invoiced.
Your dev, demo, and testing sites. Not invoiced.
Ours, not yours. WP Cloud deploys these for monitoring. Ignore them; don’t delete them.
_data site meta correctly or you’ll overpay. This is the single most common billing mistake new partners make.Common questions
Can I set my own retail prices?
Yes. We bill you wholesale. What you charge your customers is entirely your business.
What happens if a site gets a traffic spike?
If bursting is enabled, the site scales automatically – up to 110+ workers – and scales back down when traffic normalizes. You’re billed for the workers you’ve configured, not the burst capacity used.
Is there overage billing for bandwidth or pageviews?
No. Unlimited visits, unlimited bandwidth. No surprises.
What if I need more than 200 GB of storage on a site?
Coordinate with us. We can raise the quota. Storage above 200 GB is billed at a per-GB rate.
How do I see what I’ll actually owe?
Log in to the partner portal and go to the Billing section. Your volume tier and current charges are shown there.
