@hage I assume you also tried this under TT5? π
Hi @areziaal
In the editor, I deleted the maintenance template. I created a maintenance.html file in the templates directory and added code to it. Your plugin now recognizes it in the backend.
Using maintenance template from: Theme file
I activated maintenance mode, and the correct page appeared. π Perhaps my explanation will be helpful; if not, sorry!
Hi @areziaal
I’ve installed the new update.
I have to manually clear the cache first for everything to work.
But now I understand, @hage; I’m using a maintenance template that already contains content.
Now, like @hage, I’ve created a template called “maintenance” with a template.
The plugin now recognizes this in the settings.
Using maintenance template from: Site Editor (database)
After that, I created a page titled “Wartung” using the “maintenance” template and added explanatory text. And now, just like @hage, I’m experiencing the same issue: no corresponding page is displayed in maintenance mode.
However, if I create a template maintenance in the editor with header and footer as well as explanatory texts, this page also appears.
Hi @fahadwaheed
Thank you for the clear answer.
Hello and thank you for the feedback.
On my website, which is currently being developed locally using Local WP, there are three pages that integrate the CF7 contact form.
On these contact pages, the redirect function of your plugin is also used to redirect users after the form is submitted.
However, due to the use of your plugin, the following is visible in the source code of all pages:
<script id="cf7apps-redirection-js-extra">
var cf7appsRedirection = {"ajaxurl":"http://test.local/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php"};
//# sourceURL=cf7apps-redirection-js-extra
</script>
<script src="http://test.local/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-honeypot/includes/apps/cf7-redirection/assets/js/app.js?ver=3.4.0-1.0.0" id="cf7apps-redirection-js"></script>The code would probably only be really needed on the contact pages π
Therefore, it would be nice if the code could simply be included on specific page IDs or via the template name. Perhaps this could be done by adding an entry to the theme’s functions.php file?
If not… no problem. I just noticed that there’s code on pages where it’s not strictly necessary. Thanks for the plugin, too! Best regards

In reply to: [Multisite Language Switcher] Connection problems between languagesA problem of understanding on my part. π
I βtranslateβ a page, for example to EN, and publish it.
Now comes the translation from DE to ES. The field for data transfer from DE is pre-filled. And now my mistake – before publishing I also have to mark the page that has already been translated into EN!
Only then are all translated pages connected to each other!
I guess I just didn’t want to see the connection π
The problem was again finding it 60cm in front of the screen π Problem solved! A great plugin!

Problem is solved.

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More Than Just a Page Builder] Cannot edit pagesHi @aracelil ,
In the meantime, I have managed to solve the problem, however. Anyway, I can work with all Pflugins and the current Elementor again. For now π
I used the save mode… and was able to work. So it must be a plugin. After that, I radically deactivated all plugins and activated them again.
They look good on the copy of the website. I hope to be able to implement this productively.
The only question is why WP tells me Elementor is the source of the error… but that probably wasn’t the case, since the site was running in safe mode!
I’ll mark my question as solved later if everything else goes smoothly.
Thanks for the attention and Elementor probably wasn’t the problem!

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More Than Just a Page Builder] Cannot edit pagesHi,
OK, now all plugins are deactivated … and WordPress sends me this email:
“WordPress hat eine eingebaute Funktion, die erkennt, wenn ein Plugin oder ein Theme einen fatalen Fehler auf deiner Website verursacht, und dich deswegen mit dieser automatisierten E-Mail benachrichtigt. In diesem Fall hat WordPress einen Fehler in einem deiner Plugins, Elementor, abgefangen.”
Well, I had already suspected that π
Now I should check whether there are any visible problems on the page … which I had already noticed myself (source code of the page delivered by Elemontor … WITHOUT a closing header).
I think my static site created by Hugo will be better for the future … unfortunately it is not quite finished yet.
I am freezing the site at its current state of v 3.23.4, since I can still work with it,

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More Than Just a Page Builder] Cannot edit pagesHi @devsc2768,
Oh … I’m not alone π
But I have to correct myself. Everything works perfectly up to v3.23.4, but from v3.24.0 onwards you cannot edit with Elementor.
Hi @aracelil ,
Thanks for the feedback.
I copied the website and updated it to the latest version (WP 6.7.1). All plugins are also up to date, except for Elementor (it says v3.23.4). I can make my changes via Elementor without any problems.
If I now update Elementor to v3.24.0 or higher versions), editing via Elementor is no longer possible… blank page.
But if I look at the source code of the page… <head> is not closed! The last entries in the open head area come from tinymcy. Of course, no view of the page can then be created π
Even changing the theme doesn’t change anything, Hello Elementor reacts in the same way and doesn’t close the header!
I will deactivate all plugins later and report whether there is an improvement… but I doubt it π I hope I’m wrong though π
Good day to everyone, kind regards

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More Than Just a Page Builder] Cannot edit pagesHello,
I traced the versions back to Elementor.
Editing a page works up to version 3.24.0. After that, editing is no longer possible :-/
Greetings
Hello @fayyazfayzi
I recently reinstalled the plugin – everything works as it should! No idea why I had problems back then.
Thanks for your answer!
