In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contactform Spam over REST APII have sent you the link.
Strange thing, when I analyse the access log on Webserver, there are entries:
POST /kontakt/#wpcf7-f5-p52-o1 HTTP/1.1″ 404 10170
from an IP address from hongkong.
Return value is 404, but eventually is there a bug with the #wpcf7-f5-p52-o1? /kontakt/ was the old permalink where the CF7 form was reside.
But the same IP also uses:
GET /kontakt/ HTTP/1.1″ 301 0
301 because we had renamed the permalinkForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contactform Spam over REST APIIt looks like my guess was wrong with the REST API. It was probably a coincidence in testing. I can reproduce the spamming, without REST API active. Just when I activate the Plugin the spamming starts, on deactivate the spamming stopps.
So it seems to look like a Bug, wich is exploited?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contactform Spam over REST APII think this could be the same reason here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/captcha-v3-doesnt-protect-from-spam/

In reply to: [Nested Pages] Update 3.0.3+ shoots wp_dropdown_pagesI have testet with version 3.0.4 till 3.0.5, the above code was not working. The Meta box is exactly the problem. On “post” post type there is the meta box with wp_dropdown_pages functions where takes the “test” post type posts. In other words; on a “post” I have to select a “test”.
Did you have tested exactly this? Because the dropdown with type “page” was working, just with “test” it was not working. In my opinion, it is enough to write in your pricacy policy that you collect IP, date, time and loginname of logins in the backend. So in this way you do not have to activate the GDPR mode.
I would also mention to passing on this data for investigative purposes. The second thing related to GDPR is: Do you send this data also to an external server, or just save it in the current database?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] “Send Form” is no longer workingSo, the error reported here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/submit-button-spins/ still belive in Version 4.9. The error was since Version 4.8. The only way, was to roll back to version 4.7.
Why does the CF7 doesn’t work anymore? When you have disabled REST API for anonymous users (for security reason I always have it disabled), the contact form is not working.I hope the developers fix this issue in a future version?

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] E-Mail not workI don’t think that’s the reason, because I have other Plugins active where the E-Mail function works. I user p.e. Contact Form 7, where the mail was correctly sent.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Submit button spinsYou can’t enable or disable it. You just can set Anonymous Users blocking. I think you have have a Plugin installed where is doing this. I recommend to blocking Anonymous users.
So make a rollback to 4.7. A good and easy way to do this is with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Plugin broken w/ WordPress 4.8.1 UpdateForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Submit button spinsAgree, me too. When the REST API is “disabled” (Anonymous Users are blocked), Contact Form 7 was not working.
When I “enable” REST API, Contact Form was working.Workaround: Rollback to Contact Form 4.7
