thank you both for your help. I should have informed you earlier that I already got help from Themetrust support staff. I had to add the following code:
.page-id-576 li#search-6 {margin: 0; padding:0; background:none;}
into CSS section of the theme, so it only worked on a single page where I wanted to avoid the bullets.
