Yes, we are using a translation plugin – Loco Translate and Polylang. So could the problem be due to the use of this plugin? How can we solve the problem? Do I have to ask the providers of Loco Translate and Polylang?

Sadly, this does not solve the problem for the “public name” field. If I change it within the user profile and even if I sync it manually afterwards the “public name” field for the author profile does not get updated. There are no problems with other fields such as first name or surname.
The manual step is also not very user-friendly, as our website will be maintained by a larger number of people in the future. In any case, if a manual step is necessary for synchronization, it will be challenging.
