In general, these types of issues are due to conflict with your theme or any other plugins. So can you please deactivate your plugins one by one and check this issue? Also, please switch to another theme and check this issue. You can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) to deactivate plugins and switch themes without affecting the site. After use, you can safely uninstall this plugin.
If there are any plugin or theme issues, please let us know through https://wpjobopenings.com/support/.Regards,
Vidya K VHi @ritut,
This can happen if you use the default PHP mail service.
First of all, please note these points.
1. If the ‘From’ address does not match the domain on the hosting account, it can cause issues with email delivery.
2. Check if you are using the correct email address in the ‘From’ address used by our plugin (Settings > Notifications) for the applicant and admin notifications.
3. Avoid using the same email addresses for the From and To fields. If not, the email will be automatically marked as spam.If the above solutions don’t work for you, then there are many other ways to fix this: You can use a dedicated plugin for handling the mail. For example, WP Mail SMTP by WPForms or using the plugin, Stop WP Emails Going to Spam if you do want to use the default PHP mail service.

For your requirement, you can use any export import plugin. For example, WP Import Export Lite (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-import-export-lite/).
Please note that the job and application are different post types. So both have IDs. The applications are related to the job. So, you need to export the job and import it before importing applications if you don’t have the job data. You don’t need to add all the custom fields selectively. You only need to click the ‘Add All’ button under ‘Choose Fields.’ When you export, never forget to click the ‘Export with Settings For Import’ button.
Important: These types of migrations are always really complicated. Applications are related to Job IDs. So any change in ID can cause issues with the mapping of fields during data import. Also, if any application attachment files are associated, the files also need to be synchronized between both servers. So please use export and import plugins with caution. We have suggested this as this is the best option for your purpose. Also, these import and export plugins are outside the scope of our plugin as these are external plugins. But anyway, we are sharing a video that may help your case.

We understand your concern about job positions from your website being posted on LinkedIn as unverified additions with an apply link.
To clarify, the WP Job Openings plugin does not have any built-in integration with LinkedIn or any functionality that automatically shares job postings with third-party platforms. Based on the message you mentioned, it appears that LinkedIn has sourced the job post from another site or service.
Here are some potential reasons this could be happening and steps you can take to address the issue:
- Job Aggregators or Scraping:
Some job aggregators or services may scrape job listings from publicly accessible websites, including those using the WP Job Openings plugin. LinkedIn might display such jobs if it receives them from a partner or aggregator. - Review Job Post Source on LinkedIn:
Please check the job listing on LinkedIn to see if it mentions the source of the post. LinkedIn often indicates where the job was pulled from (e.g., “via [Aggregator Name]”). This can provide a clue about how the listing was added. - Website Crawling or Indexing:
If your website’s job posts are publicly accessible and not restricted by robots.txt or meta tags, they could be indexed or scraped by third-party services. This could lead to your job listings appearing on LinkedIn without your explicit input.
Suggested Actions:
- Restrict Crawling:
If you want to prevent unauthorized access or scraping of your job posts, you can update your website’srobots.txt
file or addnoindex
meta tags to the job post pages. Let us know if you’d like assistance in implementing this. - Contact LinkedIn Support:
You can reach out to LinkedIn Support to inquire how the job was sourced and request its removal if necessary. Provide them with details about the listing and your website. - Monitor Server Logs:
Review your server logs to identify any unusual bot activity or traffic from job aggregators that might be scraping your site’s content.
If you have any further questions or need help implementing the suggested actions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Hi @melanielang,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
It looks like there might be a small typo in your shortcode. The correct attribute for hiding the “Load more” button should be loadmore=”no”. Here’s how you can write it:
[awsmjobs loadmore=”no”]
Please try this and see if it works on your website! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

With the WP Job Openings Pro add-on, you can export the application data to CSV format. After exporting the applications to CSV, you can manually upload the files to any provider and manage them to convert them to HTML.

Regards,
Vidya K VHi @balaram5441,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the WP Job Openings plugin. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, emails might end up in the spam or junk folder. Ensure that the HR inbox has whitelisted your site’s email address.
- Email Address Configuration:
Make sure the ‘From’ address in the plugin’s notification settings matches the domain of your hosting account. Mismatched domains can cause delivery issues.
- Avoid using the same email address for both the ‘From’ and ‘To’ fields. This can cause emails to be marked as spam.
- SMTP Configuration: If you’re using the default PHP mailer, consider switching to an SMTP service. Many web hosting providers do not configure their servers to send PHP emails reliably.
- Plugin Settings: Double-check the plugin’s notification settings to ensure everything is configured correctly. Sometimes, a simple setting might be overlooked.
- Testing Email Delivery: Use a plugin like “Check & Log Email” to test if emails are being sent from your WordPress site. This can help identify if the issue is with the plugin or the email delivery system.

Vidya K VHi,
To use it, you’ll need to enter the exact text you want to translate in the ‘Original string’ field, the text domain of our plugin in the ‘Text domain’ field, and your desired translation in the ‘Replacement string’ field.
For example, if you want to translate “New Opening” into French:
– Original string: New Opening
– Text domain: [our-plugin-text-domain]
– Replacement string: [French translation of New Opening]Our plugin text-domain is
