Hi @jigneshmpatel
Thank you so much for your quick and effective support!Apologies for the initial confusion about Braintree — I really appreciate the time you took to investigate despite the misunderstanding. Your responsiveness and the speed at which you resolved the issue were truly impressive.
The temporary fixed version you provided worked perfectly, and I’ve just updated to the latest official release — everything is functioning exactly as expected now.
Thanks again for your great work and support!
Best regards and have a great day!
Hi,
Thanks for your response. After thorough testing, it appears that the issue is specifically tied to the credit card payment method using Hosted Fields (
payment_method_wpg_paypal_checkout_cc) in your plugin.When submitting the checkout form with required fields missing (e.g., first name), instead of triggering WooCommerce’s native validation, the submission is interrupted and an “Unknown error occurred” message is displayed.
This issue does not occur with the standard PayPal payment button, which correctly allows WooCommerce validation to run before proceeding.
In your script ppcp-paypal-checkout-for-woocommerce-public.js, the following line appears to override the default behavior:
$('form.checkout').on('checkout_place_order_wpg_paypal_checkout_cc', (event) => {
event.preventDefault();
return this.handleCheckoutSubmit(event);
});
This effectively bypasses WooCommerce’s validation logic. SincehandleCheckoutSubmitdoesn’t replicate that logic on its own, users can click “Place Order” with missing or invalid data and get a generic error instead of proper field-level messages.It would be great to adjust this logic to allow WooCommerce’s native validation to complete before
handleCheckoutSubmit()is triggered — or, alternatively, explicitly perform equivalent validation within your handler.Let me know if you’d like help testing a fix.
Best regards
Thank you @xue28

In reply to: [Connect Polylang for Elementor] Polylang 2.6.+ Compatibility IssuesHi Brad,
That’s strange…
As I said above, I tested up to the 2.6.4 version. I still have the problem.If I create a page in English (default language is French), edit with Elementor, add a Global (once the Global is created, I can see it in the Global tab.), save and close the page.
If I try to re-open this page, Elementor Crashes.
If I try to access the Global widget I just created from another page (in English) I don’t see it.Hi schmatzler,
If you go to SEO -> Search Appearance -> Archives -> Specials Pages, you’ll see that there’s some text there : “You searched for” and “Page not Found” written just before the snippet variables. The snippets available are “Separator”, “Search phrase”, “Page”, and “Site tile”.
So as the “Page title” snipped is not there, you won’t see the translation you made.
Is there a reason why the page “Page title” snippet is not available?
Regards

In reply to: [Connect Polylang for Elementor] Polylang 2.6.+ Compatibility IssuesHi,
I’ve made a lot of tests!
Since the version 2.6.x of Polylang (tested up to 2.6.4):
1) It’s definitely not possible to edit a page which contains a global if this page is not assigned to the default language.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
a) Let’s say my default language is French.
b) I create a new English page with Elementor, I create a Global Widget (*) in it and I save the page.
c) If I try to re-open this page with Elementor, it freezes and offers me the “Safe Mode”2) When editing a page with Elementor, only the Global Widgets in the default language are displayed in the “Global” tab.
Steps to reproduce the problem :
a) (My default language is still French).
b) I create a new English page with Elementor, I click on the Global tab in the side bar and I don’t see the Global Widget (*) created in my example above.
(But I see all the French Global Widgets.)With the 2.5.x versions, I don’t have any of the two problems above…
Another problem I noticed:
If I try to edit two pages assigned to two different languages with elementor at the same time. (Why I am doing this? 😉 )
Let’s say I edit an English page and a French page at the same time, if I try to add a template on each of the pages, two things can happen :
1) If I try to add a template on the French page: only the English Templates are listed | If try to add a template on the English page: only the English Templates are listed (normal behaviour).
2) If I try to add a template on the French page: only the French Template are listed (normal behaviour) | If I try to add a template on the English page: only the French Template are listed.And a last thing:
When a translation is create from a page which contains a Global Widget, I think that this (and any) Global Widget should be automatically un-global-ized.
Currently, if I want to create an English translation from a French page which contains a Global Widget :1) I have to duplicate this page. (I use the Duplicate-Post extension)
2) In this copy, I unlink the global, assign this page to English, I type the name of the French page (in the field at the right of the pencil) and save.
3) The copy is now the translation page.Regards,

In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] Should tell us we need to enter billing informationHello jojones55,
If you had read the FAQ in the section “Will WP YouTube Lyte work if I don’t provide an API key?” You would have learned that the extension works without and API.
According to me, your 1 star is totally unfair.
