Manu- This reply was modified 3 years, 5 months ago by Manu Mathur.
Hi Team,
In addition to the above two queries, I forgot listing one more query which is as following:
#3 – How can I add more social media icons below each blog post without altering the number of icons shown at the top of featured images?
Note: Right now, I see 4 icons (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & LinkedIn) below every post and the same appear at the top of every featured image (while I hover my cursor).
Is there any way I can add more social media icons below the blog posts such that it doesn’t alter the number of icons that pop up on the featured image?
Also, is it possible to replicate those same icons at the starting of the blog post?
If yes, please do suggest me how can I do that too.Look forward to your response.
Thank you!
I will share the updated health report with you in next 2 business days.
Thank you for taking up the Analytics test and providing me the reports. Also, here are the answers to your queries:
1. Yes, I do see it. When I access Search Console directly, here’s what I get – Google Search Console Image2. Yes, on opening Google Analytics, here’s what I get: Google Analytics Image
As requested, I have filled out this Google Form with my Site Health status.
I hope that you’ll find this information useful.
Look forward to your response.

Yes, sure. I will keep you posted in a matter of 7-10 business days once I start seeing data on my WP dashboard (obtained via GSC).
Cheers,
ManuYes, I have dropped the idea of adding a new property on “Analytics” as it won’t serve any purpose.
And yes, I understand that “Site Kit” has no additional insights available when it comes to users facing Search Console issues.
Hence, I am reaching out to my – hosting provider, and other field experts to help me dive deeper and understand the root cause of this issue.
Also, I did ran: “site:whereispillmythoughts.com” string again today on Google Chrome, Opera, and Firefox browsers separately, and it has started showing results. You can check the search results here.
So, I believe, the issue of site not getting indexed is partially resolved.
Still, I will keep exploring the issue further until things restore to normal.Thank you for keeping it open for a few more days.
I will update this post again as soon as I notice any new changes or have some updates to share with you guys.Appreciate your patience and assistance.
Cheers,
ManuThank you for waiting over the past few days.
As discussed earlier, I did perform a complete reset of the plugin and re-connected all my Services (Analytics/AdSense/ etc.) and faced no challenge on that part.
Once everything was set up properly, I switched back to WordPress dashboard and noticed that nothing had changed.
The dashboard still showed me the same error under my “Site Kit” widget:
“Search Console data is not yet available, please check back later.”
Here’s the image reference link for your perusal.
I have also updated the “Site Health Info” using the Google form link you shared earlier.
Hope that information helps you and the team in understanding the problem.Note: I was also wondering if I should reset my Google Analytics account from scratch? I might lose all information & data (gathered over the years from 2013), but what if it helps?
Will look forward to your inputs on this and the previous information shared.

Requesting you to keep the thread active as I would take 2-3 business days more to try resetting the Sitekit plugin and give you a detailed response.
Will get back to you on this soon.
Thanks.
Thanks @jamesosborne for responding.
Give me 2-business days and I will perform the reset and check if I am able to see any data or not. Would request you to keep this thread active for now.
Yes, in case, I don’t see any relevant data within my dashboard, I will share my “Site Health information” with you guys.
Sure, @jamesosborne
I will look forward to your response. You can take your time in analyzing the site.
Also, when I ran the URL inspection tool for my main URL (https://whereispillmythoughts(dot)com), I got the following results:I hope you’ll find these two images useful in your analysis.
Look forward to your response.
Cheers,
ManuYes, I am able to view the data related for this property directly when I access Google Search Console.
I face zero issues on that part. It’s just that no particular data gets shown within my WP dashboard.Cheers
I did ran another search later and found the code “site:<blog URL>” to be generating the results properly. So, I guess, it was a temporary glitch that led us both see zero results on search.
Also, considering everything is fine, what in your opinion could be generating the primary error on Site Kit plugin?
Do you have any other workaround solutions that I can give a try?
Note: For convenience, I have also filled up the Google form and submitted my response.
Hopefully, you will find it useful.Look forward to your response.
Cheers,
Manu MathurThanks for the quick revert.
As a matter of fact, I started this website in 2012, and have had set up Google Search Console right then.
So, I don’t think – it’s a new set up on the website. Also, I didn’t make any changes on the site w.r.t URL. So, that too goes out.
However, one thing that scares me is: why does the “Site:blog URL” doesn’t fetch results for you? I ran that search here as well, and I got the same output.
I checked my Google Search Console separately and things seem fine there. I even checked the “Manual Actions” and “Security Options” under the header ‘Security and Manual Actions’, but found zero penalties/warnings.
If I am not being consistent in publishing with my blog posts (like a delay of several months occur) between two posts, can that hamper my search visibility???
What’s your opinion on this? And, yes, my Health check plugin shows no such issues, but I did that only as a precautionary step.
Would also appreciate your assistance on the Google visibility issue I am facing (<site: blog URL> showing zero results on Google).
Thanks

Thanks for clarifying the issue.
I hope you developers will also look into the suggestion I shared in the first post of including social icons in the Header part in the coming theme updates.
It will surely be helpful for a lot of folks.Cheers,

In reply to: [Blog Way] CSS code for reducing the Footer sizeHi Devs,
Thanks a lot for responding. The code worked and the footer looks perfect now. 🙂
A quick query: In case, I add up more elements in future, I will have to edit the value of these:
- padding-top: 20px;
- padding-top: 15px;
- padding-bottom: 15px;
only right?
No change whatsoever will be made in the rest of the code?- This reply was modified 4 years, 7 months ago by Manu Mathur.
