Argh, this is a difficult situation. It happens when I chose the placement above or below contents, and if that’s done, it will show double banners it all posts of the website, I don’t see a way to make it only in a test post… oh perhaps I can create a temp category.

I did, but the plugin doesn’t seem to respect the display condition for Category is Temp

However, somehow, the second, duplicated, banner disappeared. Trouble now is in the home page which shows a banner on the top, above everything else.

The banner below is in fact from your plugin, but it’s served through the Newspaper ads manager – with the code.

    1) No way. I installed your plugin, it happened, uninstalled, ceased to happen.

    2) No. The links in the “see all pages” page. No links to copy a page from there.

    3) As I said, I am aware it makes no sense, but somehow it was very clear.

Sure, you definitely deserve it. Although being already uninstalled, I can’t be 100% precise.

    1) In all posts view, above the main area where posts are listed, your plugin created something strange, which took several lines, kind of one word per line, with some checkmarks, again, one per line.

    2) Plugin lines for copying and so were not visible in all pages view.

    3) Definitely it slowed down A LOT my WP installation, even if it doesn’t make sense.

Puzzling. You pointed me to an article on how to call your JS code from a specific page, so I assumed you are familiar with the process. After all, this is your world, your natural habitat.

Myself, I don’t think the method 2 is suitable, so I used the method 3, but the widget didn’t show. Perhaps it doesn’t show because your plugin overrules the code? I mean, after all I have to chose the option to hide in all pages/posts.

JS call for an external site: means I don’t have the actual code but a link to the address where the code is.

Definitely not. In a site with dozens or even hundreds of posts it’s not a viable solution. It should be possible to define by category or to make the choice in the WordPress creating/editing post interface. For some reason pretty much all chat plugins offer the same solution, which is very limited-

I am aware of that. It’s a common feature in plugins of the same category but it’s not sufficient. What should be done was a filtering based on the taxonomy. Thought it would be basic. After all, we are dealing with WordPress and categories and/or tags are the common way to differentiate posts. Either that or even the option to chose on each post even the chat would be available or not. But for some reason chat plugins don’t allow that but that’s what we need.

Thanks for the hint regarding the font. I honestly didn’t notice that.

Some users are really idiots and an insult to those who work hard in development.

Hum. Not so smooth. Method 2 seems to imply that I specify a post ID. Won’t work for me. I need to decide to enable the chat for each post and there will be plenty of posts.

Method 3 didn’t work at all.

I am assuming I should keep the option to hide widget in Chat Visibility

By the way, I found the JS call for an external site. Is that it?

Please, where can I find instructions about where to find the JS Code and how to install it in just some specific posts of my WordPress? ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh what a pity, so it’s not possible to place two tables side by side in WordPress? ๐Ÿ™

That’s all very good but I consider the absence of the sorting feature in the free version a harsh measure to sell. It goes overboard, so to say. I am increasing my rate by one star though. And I keep that the plugin is over priced for what it does and for its level of complexity.

That crossed my mind, so I made sure I published at least one post (it’s a new project) to test. The issue remained.

It’s all taken care of. I am fast.

You will have to agree with me that’s strange – to say the least – why would someone use a PRO feature for something which exist BEFORE by default, to everybody?

I mean, if the PRO feature would SHOW GOOGLE POI, instead of HIDE GOOGLE POI, that would make sense.

Additionally, if the issue is Google fault, I have to assume that the PRO feature we are talking about must be inoperative and therefore removed from the settings panel.

I changed nothing at all, as I said in my original post ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, I know that, but it’s only available for PRO. Of course you are free and very fairly so, to reserve a significant number of the plugin’s features to paying users… however, it’s not fair at all changing the rules of the game after its start.

When I chose this plugin Google POI’s wouldn’t show, no need to activate this PRO only option. It was under those terms that I created about one hundred of maps. Well… you have the power, what else can I say…..
