    Resetting indexables and migrations helps. I don’t have this error anymore in my logs, but the optimization process still does not complete. My browser throws js error o.objects is undefined and posts a lot of empty posts to mywebsite.com/wp-admin/undefined that get a 404.

    Maybe it relates to the same problem? If not, I don’t want to hijack this thread 🙂

    Maybe it’s a bug not a feature.. I experienced some product data changes while updating to v.3.0.0. The bad thing is that these changes won’t update properly cause they mess with woocmmerce’s own input field requirements. You can try this:
    Check the “Downloadable” checkbox and make sure that there’s no strange value in the limit field. You can set it to zero and uncheck the checkbox and retry updating product data.

    If it still doesn’t update, have a look at your browser’s developer tool console (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/)
    Maybe it prints out some errors while trying to update. It can give you a hint, which fields have values that version 3.0.0 can’t bug with.

    Or better, downgrade to old version (hopefully you have an old db backup) and wait for less buggy version 🙂
