ok thanks but i have pingbacks and trackbacks completely disabled from every possible place.
I filter my comments every day and i dont allow links.
I also never got a single notification about any pingbacks and/or trackbacks but at the same time i see my URL appearing in all sorts of random websites.
It’s kinda crazy that i need to download extra plugins just to prevent other blogs from auto-generating links to my site. It almost feels like WP wants my website to get spammed.
P.S. – Please tell a plug-in that i need to install that will prevent other websites from generating pingbacks leading to my site. Thank you.
