Your star rating doesn’t really match your review. I mention this because it is important that the star rating matches the review. It gives the developers feedback that is important. It also helps other folks choose plugins.You can edit your reviews for plugins, including the stars given. This allows you to change your mind on a plugin as development happens. Sometimes things get better, sometimes they get worse. Your opinion isn’t forever locked in stone.

I see what you are saying, but you are splitting hairs a bit. From the plugin description page – “Gutenberg is more than an editor” and “Gutenberg looks at the editor as more than a content field”. The developers state “we’re looking at the whole editing screen, as opposed to just the content field”.
I see where you could make a distinction between a “content editor” and a “layout builder”. However, with its blocks, Gutenberg is essentially a layout builder. As of today, it is not nearly as robust as Elementor, WP Bakery, Beaver Builder, or Divi, but it is pretty clear the goal of Gutenberg is to compete at that level and in that way.

I agree with you, the initial versions have not been great. Maybe they will get better over time.

Hey Chris – Thanks for the speedy reply. I’m good here. No rush on the update for me.
I am using a custom query that outputs the tag groups in order to fire sort and filter via Isotope. It broke when I updated to 2.4 (was returning 0 results) but adding the amount fixed it. So, I am all set.
Thanks again for the great plugin and the fast response on support topics.
