In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Partial audios and ssml issues@clapac I have the exact same issue. I’m very interested to know what your workaround was even if I have to hard code the solution temporarily. Thank you.

In reply to: Installation Filepath TransferAs long as you’ve migrated the complete WordPress install, including everything contained in the /wp-content/ folder to the new subfolder, you should be able to update your URL references by doing a database search and replace. This is the tool I use and is recommended by WordPress for performing a database-wide search and replace. Simply search for the old URL and replace with the new URL and it should replace all instances. You can do a dry run first. Use this tool with caution and definitely perform a full backup of all your files and your database before running the script.
Note, there are some plugins that are mentioned on the WordPress Codex page linked to above that can help you perform a search and replace directly through the WordPress admin panel.

In reply to: Can’t Update Header or Find Widgets AnymoreDid you recently perform a theme update, or switch from a child theme to a parent theme or vice versa?
Are you able to provide screenshots of the errors in context?
This may be a theme specific issue and you might have better luck using their support forums.

In reply to: Active page is not on dashboard, needs to be taken downHi @amtab1, it appears those documents exist separate from the WordPress install. If you are comfortable using FTP, you can log into the website directory and look for the folder “downloads” in the website root folder. Many hosting providers also offer a “File Manager” tool where you can navigate the directory through your browser and access the files that way.
Once you’re able to get into the “downloads” folder you can look for those files and delete them manually. If you want to keep the new catalog in the same folder, you can upload them to the “download” folder and access them using the same URL structure above.
Alternatively, and likely your best option is to upload the replacement catalogs as PDF files directly through the WordPress “Media Library” in the WordPress admin panel, copy the URL of the file, and then update the links across the website and point them to the new file.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: Cloning Web Site & SEO issuesHi @usersamma100, there are several considerations for SEO when changing domains. Here are some of the most important for letting search engines know about the switch.
- Leave old domain active but with a custom 404 page telling users of the switch.
- Update the old domain’s .htaccess file to include 301 redirects to all corresponding pages on the new domain. There are several plugins you could use on the old version of the site for this purpose.
- Verfiy both the old domain and the new domain in Google Webmaster Tools and then upload the old sitemap for the old domain (this will force Google to crawl each page and see the 301 redirects to the new pages.
- Fill out Google’s Change of Address tool
You can do the same through Bing Webmaster Tools as well.
Review this helpful article on Moz.com as well for more information on moving domains. The article is a bit dated, but the steps are still accurate.
I understand some of these steps may be a bit more involved, but you should be able to find answers for any questions you might have in the respective forums for Google and Bing webmaster tools.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: Can’t access my website admin pageDo you have access to FTP? If so, you can rename your plugins folder which will deactivate all plugins. If it is a plugin conflict, then you should be able to once again access your site’s admin.
If not, try deactivating your theme.
Let me know how that goes.

In reply to: Can’t access my website admin pageIt does not look like you’ve published any posts yet and that block on your homepage is meant to pull the most recent posts. That’s why you see the “Nothing was Found” notice.
Is this the page you would like to be your actual homepage? If so, you should follow these instructions for setting up a static homepage.
Also, you might want to consider changing your permalink settings to “Post Name”, here are instructions on how to do that as well.
It looks like there could be a redirect in place blocking access to the admin section of the site. Could you give more details about what plugins you have installed. This may be caused by an issue with a plugin. You could also review this article in the Codex and see if any of these solutions resolve your issue.

In reply to: Image previews and Titles Too LongIt looks like you have some CSS issues. The title <header> element is a fixed width of 820px, which causes it to overflow the column into the sidebar. If you override the fixed width in the main.css file, the text will naturally break to the next line within the column.
For the image, if you apply the following CSS:
.sub-box section img{max-width:100%;}That should fix the image overflow issue.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Single product page templateIt looks like the screenshot you linked to is of the default WooCommerce plugin design for the single product page template.
You’re likely seeing a different design because the theme you’re using came packaged with separate template files and CSS stylesheets that override the default WooCommerce plugin.
Within your theme folder (or parent theme folder) do you see a subfolder titled “woocommerce”?
If so, this is likely where the theme specific WooCommerce templates are located.

In reply to: I have moved Config.php, Site Not Working@smsjaipur are you sure you put the wp-config.php file back in the right folder, did you confirm that it is now there and that the database connection details are correct?
To test whether it is a plugin conflict, change the name of the plugins folder located at /wp-content/plugins/ to something other than “plugins” (e.g. “plugins2”). This will automatically de-activate all plugins.
If once you do this you are able to access the site admin, this would indicate an issue with a plugin. You can reactivate the plugins by changing the folder name back to “plugins” and then manually activating each through the admin. Make sure to activate each one at a time so you can test to see which plugin may have caused the problem. If it happened after installing 2 new plugins, I would suggest activating those last, as one is likely the culprit.

In reply to: WordPress 4.5 and Visual Composer 4.9 IssuesThe “Bridge” theme developers did push an update with the latest VC plugin bundled, as I’ve built several sites with this theme. I’ve installed this updated theme, uninstalled old VC and re-installed with the latest packaged version. Everything is working on those installs now running 4.11.1.
Waiting now on other premium theme developers to release updates containing the latest version of VC. If nothing comes within 24 hours I will purchase a separate license for VC.
